Welcome to my first PTR! I just joined the DIS boards, although my mom has been an avid reader for many years. She has successfully planned numerous trips for our family that have provided so much fun and many memories, so I thought I would do a trip report for our upcoming trip in December!

Why me, you ask. Well, let me introduce myself. I am Princess Belle, a 19 (soon to be 20) year old Mississippi State student majoring in Elementary Education and I absolutely love everything Disney. I can sing every word to every Disney song, act out every Disney movie, and walk the parks with my eyes closed. Disney World is a frequent topic in my daily conversations, whether it be parks, restaurants, tips/strategies, resorts, etc. We leave in 19 days and within those 19 days I have 5 exams, 1 paper, my birthday, my college's big rivalry game (GO DAWGS!), Thanksgiving, and my writing portfolio is due! I am determined to put my all in this trip report, because if I know anything, it is that a college kid can multi-task just about anything (don't worry, Mom- I know my studies come first)!

Ok, so here is the info on our trip:
We leave on December 9 and I have TWO exams this day, yikes! One exam is from 8:00-11:00 am and the other is from 12:00-3:00 pm; Planetary Pilot and Mrs. Incredible (my Dad and Mom) will be on campus ready to pick me up and leave at 3:05 pm. Haha! We will then drive to pick up my older sister Princess Jasmine in Jackson and continue driving through the night and check in at Coronado Springs first thing Saturday morning and "Get our keys to the world," as Mrs. Incredible says. Our first park of the day will be Epcot.

So why follow my trip report? My family is crazy!! When you put the four of us together in a car for 12-14 hours and in a small hotel room funny things happen! Pleeease follow my family and me as we go on yet another fun-filled Disney vacation! I promise I am going to update frequently. I will fill you in on my crazy next 2 and a half weeks, how my family is preparing for the trip, and I might even let my family do a guest update!

Thanks so much DisneyDarling!

Had a long talk tonight with Mrs. Incredible about our ADRs. I'll fill you all in later on where they all are, but I will say I am very excited about them! While, we are going back to some of our favorites we are also branching out and trying new places! The main one Mrs. Incredible and I talked about was O'Hana's. We have been there once and did not have a good experience. I loved it, but I was very young. Since then, they have revamped the menu; it is basically like a new restaurant.

Mrs. Incredible also pointed out that since we are only 19 days away, we will be able to check the forecast pretty soon! This is our first trip in December so we really do not know what to expect for the weather! I feel like it will be pretty cold in the morning/night and during the day it will most likely be comfortable. Packing will be tough! I would love any suggestions for how to prepare for the December weather!

I'm trying to figure out how to post pictures! I would love some tips or instructions!

I am finally back at school, but a lot has happened! Mrs. Incredible does a lot of our trip planning on her own, but we get a little help from Small World Vacations. Well, a few days ago we got all our trip information in the mail! It is always so exciting because they send us Disney luggage tags and all our ADR confirmations and this year we got a Small World backpack that Mrs. Incredible will wear that in the parks!

So, these next two weeks are going to be so busy, but I can check one thing off my list - my college's rival football game, the Egg Bowl! It is a huge game every year, and it determines which college is the best in the state - at least until the next Egg Bowl! Well, I stood in the pouring rain and cheered for the Bulldawgs for the entire game and it paid off. We won!

Until we leave on December 9, I will be tucked away in the library studying, only coming out for my birthday and to do a little packing along the way! Oh yeah, and I learned how to knit over the break. We have a 14 hour car ride and I plan to finish my first scarf by the time we get there!

Sorry for taking so long to post, but finals week is difficult! Since my last post, I have taken 3 exams and turned in my creative writing portfolio. So far I have been very happy with all my grades, and I hope I can keep it up. All I have standing between me and Disney is 1 exam and 1 short paper (and a whole lot of packing)!

Today is my birthday and I am no longer a teenager. Mrs. Incredible sent me the cutest Disney birthday card and it made my day. I can't believe we leave in only 3 days!!

The weather has continued to be gross, but I check the forecast everyday for Orlando and it just looks greater and greater everyday!

Ok so here is our itinerary:
Leave Friday afternoon, drive to Jackson to pick up Princess Jasmine
Drive all night to Orlando
Check in at CS early early in the morning
Sat. Rope drop at Epcot
Lunch- Le Cellier
Sun. Rope drop at Animal Kingdom
Dinner- Ohana
Mon. Magic Kingdom
Lunch- Whispering Canyon Cafe
Tues. Hollywood Studios
Dinner- Raglan Road

This trip has many firsts for my family, including Whispering Canyon, Raglan Road, the Osborne Lights, and just being at Disney during Christmas time in general.

This is our first time to not have park hoppers, but we have another plan. We are going to visit all the resorts and experience all their Christmas lights and decorations. I am very excited about the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian and the walking tour at Wilderness Lodge. I would love to hear what you all do at Christmas time! Any suggestions?

I take my last exam in 2 hours and as soon as I am done my vacation will be under way! Mrs. Incredible and Planetary Pilot are busy doing last minute details and packing the car up. They took care of the car snacks last night :) I was way too excited to sleep last night and woke up extremely early. It was so hard to study for all my exams, but it has paid off and I will be done very soon. For my birthday, one of the presents my bf got me was a book called "Little Known Facts of Well-Known Places - Disney World." Of course, the first thing he said was "You probably know all of them though." This is true, but the book surprised me. One of the facts I didn't know is that Mickey Mouse has more than 290 outfits in his wardrobe, including a tuxedo, football uniform, sorcerer outfit, and scuba wetsuit. Minnie has more than 200, including evening dresses and a cheerleader uniform. I would have thought Minnie would have more!

Well, wish my family safe travels. A 12+ hour car ride is often amusing and tiring, but we have plenty of activities to keep us entertained. Keep reading :)
