Never tried it & after reading some posts I'm not sure if I want to.
Now that it's included in the dining plan, DH likes the menu & wants to try it.
It'll be an early dinner after an afternoon at DQ w/kids.

The food is nothing fancy. It is about like every other type of chain restaurant with a wide variety of foods to try to appeal to everyone. I would compare the food to an Applebees or a Chilis. If you like that type of food then you would probably be fine with it.

We enjoyed our meal there but the atmosphere is really the only reason to eat there. DH and I loved watching the movie clips and looking at all the memorabilia. We are movie buffs so it was a great choice for us. :)

Well it's like all the other PHollwoods. Great atmosphere and movie memorabilia, but I couldn't see myself walking around the restaurant to check out the stuff while other people are enjoying their meals.

If you have a PH near where you live or have already been to one, skip it and enjoy a restaurant you have never been to like Wolfgang puck's. It seems may Disers love the place.

That's my DH! I've been leaving printouts around the house for him to "stumble" upon or on the dining room table when we have dinner. He said to me last night "I don't want to eat steak EVERY night" but that's all he ever orders when we go out.

So it's nothing spicy, not too loud, no fish/seafood, no sauces, no chinese, no japanese, no mexican, etc. (but likes to have a sitdown 2x day)

Yep..sounds like PH is the place!

There are a lot of conflicting opinions about PH here on the Dis. We happened to like it although we only ate there once - on our last trip. Mom and I both had cheeseburgers that were HUGE and my father had a half chicken that he says was very good. The prices are ok - hey you are on vacation - I think the burgers were around $11. The only drawback we found was that it was way too LOUD!

We went into the city (NY) to see the Christmas tree & stopped to eat at TGIF. $17.00 for a cheeseburger

$17 is to much for a burger :faint: They arent that much in Orlando. And actually I want to say the burgers my teens ordered were $8-$10.

Im another one of the few people who really enjoy Planet Hollywood. We have been a few times and never had bad meal. Love the LA Lasagna!

I know it's crazy. The kids meals were $12 without a beverage. But we waited too long to eat & everyone was tired & hungry :guilty: so we paid it.

Everything cost more in Westchester County & NYC area. That's probably why the resort prices don't "shock" me. When we go out to Montauk for a weekend its $270 per night for a small standard room for 2pp each additional person, including children, is $25.00 more each. That's in April during "value" season.

Too much money for the food. I was completely not impressed. Want good food that is on the dining plan? Go over to Wolfgang Puck's- it is right by DQ and was just added!

Funky? Heck they still have good old fashioned steak (try wolf's steak) just ask for no onion fritters and mashed potatoes instead of fries. Their steaks beat the holy heck outta le cellier that everyone raves about!
