I am tweaking our dining plans, I have opted out of Hoop Dee Doo this year. So now I added two new places to eat, Boma and i need one more. The day is going to be a resort day and no parks, we are staying at POR so I was hoping to take the boat to downtown disney and eat there. I see planet hollywood is on the list, any good reviews? Would you say its kid friendly?
Thanks
Tammy

I think it is worth trying once. The food was ok and it is very kid friendly. I think it's fun for the kids to walk into the "ball". Since it will be a resort day, DTD is a good place to eat. Also, you might want to consider something on the Boardwalk.

We ate there last year. My DS's ages 9 & 7 enjoyed looking at all the movie items that are around. Food was good. We plan on heading back again this year.

Maybe I'll be in the minority, but I found it expensive and average. (like the Rainforest).

There are many other better restaurants on property to choose from.
