Hi,

is it really as a bad as the reviews I have read on the DLRP food site. I would love to go as we have loads of 20% off vouchers. Staring to wonder if that's why I have the vouchers.

Most of the reviews are really bad - anyone been lately.

Thanks

Elaine

We went twice before christmas and twice in September and loved it, the food was great and we had no problems with the service.

If you go i would recommend going early, maybe for lunch as it can get very busy in the evening which i think can effect the service. The only negative thing I can say is that the tables are some what crammed in, which is another good reason to go early as they will be less people.

We've been three times and the last two times the food was not great - undercooked chicken on the last visit which put me off for life. I also find it overcrowded - the tables are so close together.

We swent in december and had a great meal. The portions are enormous and the service was good.
I was very nervous about going as I had read many so/so reviews on other sites but several members here had enjoyed meals so we went. It is now on our list to go again.
My one comment is there are no reservations so be careful what time you turn up to eat as queues can get long.

The best thing to do in life is have low expectations then everything is amazing! We went twice in Jan, it was just so convenient  . The first time the service was a bit OTT actually, second was just right. I'd agree it's better to either have an early or late tea so it doesn't feel quite so crowded :crowded: .

I would def go again, especially with vouchers :cheer2:

Went for first time in July last year (see my trip report) and would have no hesitation in going again.
20% voucher is a nice bonus :goodvibes

I bought some of the vouchers on EBay, only £ 1.49 with postage and I figured with 7 of us going the 20% discount alone will save us 10 times that amount.
My eldest is desperate to eat there, although like you I've read some terrible reviews but you don't know til you've tried it. Will let you know how we get on. :thumbsup2

We had a great meal there last June, with the voucher in Simon's book it brought the bill to under 100 euros.

Our kids are teenagers & they love it.

Seems we were just unlucky :(

They do have some fab memrobilia in there - my afvourite being the All Valley Under 18 Karate trophy that Daniel won in Karate Kid - one of my favourite films ever.

I never noticed this :thumbsup2 One to look for next time :goodvibes

It's halfway up the stairs on the wall as you leave the restaurant (top floor) and go down to the gift shop on your way out.

We went for the second time between xmas & newyear. It can be very crowded and is very expensive but with the 20% off it it a bit more reasonable. I would go again, both times my meal & service was fine.
