So (like everybody else), we are destined to receive some Planet Hollywood vouchers when we check in to our hotel at Disney!

I have two questions...

What are the actual vouchers for? A free meal, or 25% off, or a free drink... or something else?

And is it worth going to Planet Hollywood to use the vouchers? I'm sure this is how they get the majority of their customers... But is the food actually yummy? The menu on AllEars looks pretty good. :confused3

This is what I found on the WDW site:

"New! Planet Hollywood® — Enjoy a select entree and non-alcoholic beverage at Planet Hollywood®(one per reservation, voucher required, tax included). Plus, receive a Planet Hollywood® keepsake (one per reservation, voucher required, must be redeemed between 11 am and 6 pm)."

Sounds like only 1 entree and beverage for your whole group. Haven't ever eaten there, so can't help you with the other part of your question. Maybe someone else can answer that for ya.

Does anyone know if it's just one voucher per family, or does everyone in the group get a free entree?

I got mine in the mail yesterday and it is one voucher for one entree... we will not be using ours.

I thought it was one for the entire family. I've eaten at the ones in New York and London, and it wasn't very good. We won't be using ours either.

I got my voucher and probably won't use it. It's just one voucher good for a hamburger or some sort of pasta platter (pomodoro maybe? dunno).

My understanding it's one voucher per room reserved, regardless of the # of people staying in that one room. In my case, I have 2 rooms reserved, but 4 people, we are only getting 2 food vouchers.

We may or maynot use them. Our last day we are planning just for DTD, but should still have 1 CS credit for each member of my party.

I figured I'd give it to the older boys in my group, they are 22 and 23, and would more likely use it than DS10 and myself. I just want one of the souvies that they will get for free using the free souvie voucher.

Since we are planning on being at DTD for Cirque one evening I plan to walk my vouchers over to PH and offer them to anyone I see who is getting ready to go in. I hate to waste things. I am thinking that they ARE transferrable?

Also are they time sensitive in that there is an expiration?

Slightly Goofy

The voucher is for:

  • 1 non-alcoholic beverage
  • 1 entree: any burger platter
  • Ceasar salad
  • pasta pomodoro

Voucher is required for redemption and is non-transferable. Valid 1/1/06-12/31/06.

It has DH's name on it.

Speaking of which (side note here), why does all my paperwork have DH's name listed first, and his name on all the vouchers? I planned this trip and I paid for it, so why wouldn't my name come first? That irks me.

I wonder then, if the 2nd voucher will have mine, my DS23's or his best friends name on it? I booked the rooms, my name is Guest #1 on ressie. I think it will be my son's name though.

My paperwork has him listed as Guest #3, and also, for the vouchers (on the paperwork) it states the vouchers for Guest #1 and #3.

That's really going to stink if I can't give it over to the best friend. I have no real desire to go, but we may, just hadn't thought that part through.

Marseeya-when you booked did you give his name before yours when they were asking for the names of the members of your party? I'm wondering if that's why. Still if it was your CC, I would had thought they would had listed you 1st. :confused3

I am staying offsite this year and we are interested in eating at PH for the first time. Does that mean if one of you weren't planning on using your voucher and you gave it to me that it wouldn't be transferable?

For any of you not using yours, can I get with you? I'm going to Orlando on a Conferecne and several of the people attending with me are wanting to go down there for one of the meals.? Thanks,
Gerri
