I am getting a Planet Hollywood MEal Voucher with our package deal from Disney... does anyone know what this is?

DOes it have to be used right away - or can it be saved for another trip?

I think with the DDP, I may not need it.
Details??

It will have an expiration date on it -- so you won't be able to use it on a future trip. And there will only be one voucher per party's package. So if there were four of you going to dine at PH, then only one person could use the voucher. And there is a limit of one voucher per table. So even if you had two different packages, only one voucher per table. And then the voucher is limited to only about 4 choices of entrees.

Not that I'm trying to discourage you or anything. :sunny:

I am looking at my voucher now - we arriving Aug 15th. It states:

You can receive (1) one of the following entrees:
* Any burger platter
* Ceasar Salad
* Pasta Pomodoro
and (1) one non-alcoholic beverage.
Valaid 1/1/06 through 12/31/06

Hope this helps!

If anyone has used their voucher, I'd be very iterested in knowing if one adult and one child can share one of the entrees? My daughter and I love Planet Hollywood so I want to take advantage of this and will just pay for hers if necessary, BUT I know we've shared meals in other PH's before (when we were paying). Just curious. Like I said, will pay otherwise so we're going either way. :)

I'll be taking DS there for lunch on Aug 13th. Will I be able to use the DDE card on the meal not covered by the voucher?

Where do we go for the free item?

Disney Freak56 we have 2 rooms reserved for our family of 7 at All Stars Sports. So we have 2 vouchers for Planet Hollywood. You mean we can't use both of them at the same time? That stinks! I thought we'd use it on our way out of Disney since we have the DDP that would be the only time to use it. I'm glad you said something or else I would have been surprised. Thanks.

We solve this problem when my entire family (parents, siblings, etc) by sitting at different tables. If it's like other coupons/discounts I've experienced, it's really 1 per table, not 1 per family.

Someone mentioned that there is a time frame with the coupon - such as before 5 or 6. Anyone know about that?

It doesn't say anything about a time frame on the voucher. Only that you have to use it for "dine in" only.

Thanks for the info. How far ahead to they mail out your package info? I guess since I have a reservation confirmation I didn't really expect another mailing. They mail it out pretty much to give you the PH voucher?

We received the package last week - probably right around the 30 day mark or so. It contained the itinerary / hotel vouchers / PH meal voucher / PH "free gift" voucher / and luggage tags. Comes in a cute little plastic pouch that has some mickey ears and pixie dust embossing.

I got my luggage tags yesterday, however I never got anything else with them. Can someone tell me how many tags you are suppose to get. This is our first time using dinsey express and we only got yellow sticky tags that are yellow and have a green mickey in the centre and it show our departure date. One for each of us. We have nothing for our arrival day. Are you suppose to get some for both your arrival and departure.

Your yellow tags are to be used for your luggage when traveling from home. You place the tags on your bags, check-in at your home airport, and don't have to pick up your bags from Orlando. You get on the Magical Express bus and your bags go on their own transportation vehicle. Your bags should show up in your assigned room within 3 hours of your arrival. In other words, once you check-in at your home airline counter with your bags, you won't have to touch them again until they're in your resort room. :sunny:

If you will need something for yourself or you family within this three-hour time period, then make sure you put it into a carry-on bag(s).

For your return, certain airlines participate in the Magical Express program -- some that come to mind are -- American, Delta, United and Midwest -- there are probably some that I am missing. If you are traveling on one of the participating airlines, then you can check-in at the Magical Express desk on your departure day with your luggage and it will be taken to the Airport for you and transferred to your plane. You won't have to touch your bags until your arrival at your home airport.

If you are traveling on a non-participating airline such as Southwest (which I am), then you check-in at your resort's Magical Express desk, but you will have to transport your own bags to the Magical Express bus and take them inside to your airline's check-in desk. In other words, you're responsible for your own luggage aside from it being on the bus.

Hope this helps. princess:

We got one for our trip this past May and when I called to make an ADR we were told it was good for lunch only. It says on the voucher that it may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, so I also asked if we could use it in conjuntion with our DDP and was told no. I round up not making the ADR.

When I made ADRs for our Sept trip I mentioned to the CM that I already had a PH voucher left over from our May trip and since we'd be getting another one for the Sept trip could we use both. Again I was told no that it was good for only voucher per table and no other discounts (which the DDP is considered) could be used with it.
