Ughhh....

Next time I suggest that my family goes to a 'theme' restraunt, someone please slap me?

What a horrible experience..... :rolleyes1

Letsee... Our food took an hour and a half to get to us!!! Mind you it was just sandwiches! Our waitress sucked, she never even came by to refill our drinks or tell us what the problem was until RIGHT when they came out with the food .

My dbil didn't even recieve the salad he ordered...

We spoke to the manager , and she told us there was a major flub in the kitchen when it came to our order... Well DUHH!!! People who walked off the street 25 minutes after we did got their food WAY before us..

To top it off.. My husband just found out yesterday that the souviee glass he ordered from there had a a defect.. There was NO logo on it!! No it didn't rub off or nothing.. It was a plain clear glass!! My dh wants to complain about this, who do we complain to about getting a actual glass?

We went there in 2002 and it was so loud we couldnt even hear the person next to us. Now I dont mind noiser restaurants because the kids dont have to be super quiet. I had to hold my then 2 1/2 yr old because it was that loud. It took a long time for the food to come and it was just OK. Very over priced.

you think P.H. is loud you should try going to Hard Rock Cafe. :headache:

Yeah, that place is a pit. We ate there once, many years ago and never had any desire to ever eat at any PH ever again. They should all be imploded as far as I'm concerned.

We are blessed to have one up here.

Blessed in the regard that we have already tried it and determined not to ruin a Disney vacation by ever going there that is.

We had planned on dining here one night while at WDW. After all the awful reviews I just don't know. Has anyone had a good experience here?

Went there once, wont be returning for all the reasons above. I agree with the poster who said to implode would be a good thing :thumbsup2 Its a shamee that with DD Westside wanting to go through some changes that they cant just roll that thing on outta there. It would make for a perfect spot for something else.

We ate there many, many years ago and the service was very slow (although we were a large party of 10 or 11, so our meals took a little longer in every restaurant). However, the reason we won't be going back is the noise. I was probably only 15 or so at the time we ate there and I remember thinking that this was the worst restaurant ever because I couldn't hear a single thing anyone was saying around our table. We had to YELL EVERYTHING WE WANTED TO SAY BECAUSE THE NOISE WAS SO DARN LOUD!!!!!! I honestly remember having a headache when we left the restaurant.

Needless to say, three years ago, I went to WDW on my college spring break and we went to Planet Hollywood for a drink. Nothing had changed...the noise was still just as deafening.

Well... we've been a few times back before West Side when it was one of the only restaurants available at DTD. We enjoyed it OK, even returned a few times, but it's even gone downhill from the "it's an OK" restaurant days. When I was younger it was the "ooo" look at "___ " from "____" movie! Other than that, it was mediocre food with long waits.

This year when we booked our Sept free dining package we got a voucher for a free meal at Planet Hollywood. Even my mom the "deal queen" said- not that again :sad2: .

Thanks for that review! The DW and I have never had any interest in going in that place and your review lets me know we always made the right decision.

I've never been to the one in Orlando, but I've been to the one in Baltimore. YUK. That's why I won't go to the one in Orlando.

The menu is lacking, the food is horrible, and it's overpriced. I'll take Hard Rock any day!

Oh my goodness...

Has no one had a good experience with this rest.?

We have ADR's made here. Just because the voucher came with our package, and thought, that this would be one less OOP meal we would have to pay for. (yes my hubby is cheap). :rotfl2:

Maybe I can talk him out of eating here, if he reads these reviews.

:goodvibes Just got back last week used the voucher they gave me. I had one the best mushroom swiss burger ever. I had no wait (11:30AM) and my server was gr8. :thumbsup2 Burger with fries and drink $0.00

I really liked the food there, but it wasn't worth watching (and having to listen to) Britney Spears videos for an hour and a half. The movie memorabilia is kind of interesting, but the noise drives me crazy... The voucher was the only reason I went in the first place, and I don't think it could tempt me to go again.

We had the same type of experience

I was thinking of going here for my upcoming trip but since I have seen the remarks I do not know if i still want to go. I am going to be getting the free voucher but i will have only one so i will have to pay for my Dh. I dont know if it will be worth it :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

The way I look at it is that a few years ago you had to wait 2 hours to get into the door... and now they're giving away FREE vouchers to everyone?! Looks to me like they're getting desperate for customers- another reason I wouldn't go back.

Wow-we had a good meal and really good service the night we went. Our reservation was last Monday night at 5:00 & we sat right down...hardly a soul there at that time so I guess the noise level was a bit reduced. They played 80's videos which DH & I enjoyed! From there, we went to HOB to watch the Train concert. Now there's a good band! whew :goodvibes

We were there in December and had great service. The only problem we had, (if you want to call it a problem), she only took 2 credits for our dinner instead of 4. Due to this error we were able to split another TS meal later in our trip.
