Planet Hollywood $20 vouchers

Hi-

We needed 1-day tickets and so made a donation to the Florida Hospital to get reduced-price 1-day WDW tickets. Along with the tickets came $120 dining voucher for Planet Hollywood.

When we received the package in the mail yesterday, we found that instead of a single $120 voucher that it was 6 $20 vouchers for Planet Hollywood. Each one was stamped with "1 voucher per check".

My question is since we have a family of 5, could we ask for separate checks so that we can use 5 of the vouchers. I know we will not go back to PH that many times.

Anyone have experience with this?

I can't imagine they would let you do that. Is there fine print on the coupon that says one per table?

you may be out of luck on that...we've had occasion to have 2 of the vouchers that come in the MYW package from Disney and we were told it was one voucher per table (even though we were two separate parties in two separate rooms getting two separate checks.) They told us sorry, one discount per table, period.

However, others have reported being allowed to use more than one voucher at a table so apparently it just depends on the server

Good luck...give us a report back if you are allowed to use more than one...would be good to know if they're taking more than one (we'll be there in January with 2 rooms, 2 vouchers again.)

I was considering the Florida Hospital route to getting tickets. Certainly a worthwhile cause.

The very kind gentleman on the other end of the line at the Florida Hospital Foundation mentioned to me that if you tell Planet Hollywood that you got your six vouchers from Florida Hospital Foundation donation, they would let you combine them. I would call PH in advance to verify.

Frankly, unless it has improved it isn't worth being free. IMHO. We didn't even use our last voucher. WE threw it away.

I totally agree. Our last trip, we were so excited to check this place out. Paid out of pocket for some appetizers and shakes. Bill came to over $70. The food was not impressive. Had better at places here in town (and that's not saying much). It was loud. Very loud. You couldn't really make out the clips on the screen, let alone hear it.

It was quite the let down.

Just want to clarify that these are NOT the vouchers that you get with the MYW packages. These are $20 ones and they are stamped on there "one voucher per CHECK". Just wondering if we asked for separate checks and we are a family of 5, if they would allow that.

I know people have varying opinions on Planet Hollywood. I am not expecting it to be the best meal I've ever had at WDW but the fact that I can possibly feed my family of 5 for free or very cheaply makes it worth it to us.

This was an unplanned trip for us (NC State is in the Champs Bowl), we are not staying onsite and so do not have free dining or anything - just trying to save some money.

More than not it is going to depend on your server. If i were you, I wouldnt want to take my chances and just wait and see when we get there, Ide call PH and ask to talk to a manager, tell the how you got them and your plans, see what they say. If they say yes, make sure to get the managers name and write it down, if they say no, ask how you can do it, maybe you will need to split up some?

I think PH is pretty good, I do agree that it is WAY too loud, but it is always our first meal when we go to WDW, since we spend that day at DTD. Enjoy!
