Can you request seats or pay for them and be guaranteed them when we fly?

We wanted the ones with the big gap in front as my DF is 6'5! So he will be incredibly uncomfortable in normal seats and it could do him some damage sitting curled up for 9 hours or longer.

I'm booked with Cosmos/monarch flights. On the site it says I can prebook but it's no guarantee and we wouldn't get our money back if we didn't get the seats we paid for! What's the point of that? lol

thats bad if they take your money for something they can't g'tee and then NOT give it back if they can't do it!!! Maybe its worth the chance of paying the extra and then ensuring you get to the airport as early as possible. Do they do a twi-light check in like Virgin do? With Virgin we always check in at about midday the day before at Gatwick for the flight and that way you can normally ask for the emergancy exit seats, which you can't pre-book as they want to see you are able bodied, but then they charge about £50 for the isle seat and the seat next to it. The window seat is not charged for as you have the hump of the door by your feet, so its ok for a shorter person! Its def worth trying your hardest to get that seat for somebody so tall as its a long 9 1/2 hours otherwise.
Good luck...:)

The flight is at 9am and we're 3 hours away so we were planning on staying in a hotel the night before, so we'll be able to get there very early. :D

I don't know if I can check in online, I've never flown with them before and only booked less than a week ago so not had a chance to check lol.

Do the exit seats have tvs still? We also have 3 children so DEFINITELY need the tv's!

If not, we'd have to have an aisle seat at least so he could put his legs there although that would be annoying for him and everyone trying to pass every time he has to move out of the way lol

Im 5'3 and struggled with monachs leg room but these were flights to tenerife and egypt so hopefully they have better planes for orlando

No airline really guarentees the seats as they may need to change the aircraft at short notice or a passenger with special needs may need the seats you want, this is a,ways what i told passengers when working for virgin

Children can't sit in exit row seats by law - do they have any other extra legroom seats you could consider?

Aah that's that out then! lol

I think I can book extra leg room seats, but again not guaranteed, for £25pp.

Or I think to upgrade to Premium for £99 per person. Which has 34" leg room, seat back tv's, lots of freebies etc so will ring them tomorrow and check that's still available to book :D
