At what resort are you booked? They will pick up your bags, but many times the value resorts stop delivering bags after Midnight.

Regardless of resort, I'd pick them up myself that late. You probably don't want to be up until 1 AM waiting for your bags.

Yes, DME will take care of your bags. Should you let them? That's another story.
If you tag the bags and allow DME to take care of them, you might not get the bags until past midnight!
If you don't tag them, and go to baggage claim to get them and then take them to the bus with you, you've added, maybe, 20 mins to your time. You can figure on getting to your resort about 80 mins after deplaning. If you get your bags, figure on getting there around 10:30-11. You can get settled. If you allow DME to handle your bags, you'll arrive at the resort around 10-10:30, but baggage might arrive between 12-1am!

You also may want to put out the do-not-disturb sign on the door of your room in case the front desk or bell services fails to honor your request to hold the bags. We learned that trick after we were awakened at 1 a.m. for the delivery of bags we had asked to be held until the morning.

Oh yes, I knew that. I (incorrectly) assumed that the OP wanted the bags that night.

After a nightmare we had with DME bag handlers almost 2 years ago, we've collectively decided to pick up our bags ourselves. We don't mind waiting an additional 20+ minutes for baggage.
