Plan for October

Hi All, we are heading to WDW first week of October and taking a day to visit Universal. My wife is a huge Harry Potter and Minions fan. We area going on a Wed that the Sentinel calendar predicts to be a low crowd day. We want to do all the Harry potter stuff and the minions ride. if we have time for anything else great but those are our priorities. a few questions for you all.

1. Our plan is to rope dope and ride minions, head to Diagon Alley and ride Gringotts, explore, head over to IOA ride forbidden Journey, explore, back to other park to get the train ride both ways. Is this plan do-able in a day do you think? will we have time for anything else assuming the calander is right and the crowds are low?
2. if we do have time for some other rides will we need the express pass?
3. Anything else we should know thanks for all your help!
