plan based on EMH???

we're going to DW this january, and it is only our 2nd trip. i've been scouring these boards and feel pretty good about the planning, but now i've been thrown for a loop. i have our ADR's made, based on what parks i thought we would do on what days, and now that i've looked at the january extra magic hour list, i'm wondering if i should modify our schedule???

would you plan on going to the parks w/ extra magic hours, or would you avoid those parks because of crowds? i really don't know what to do. i'm counting on some help from the experts!!! TIA

In busy times, the general word is to avoid them unless you're actually taking full advantage of those hours and/or can hop or take a break mid-day.

In January, you might want to take advantage of them because of the shortened normal park hours and the generally low crowd levels. In other words, the impact of EMH is not as significant in January. HTH.

In my experience the morning EMH are nowhere near as crowded as the evening ones. I would avoid the park that has evening EMH that day, although if you go in the morning and leave by early afternoon you'll probably be ok.
