Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Thanks everyone! I’ve been reading this thread religiously for months and today was finally my day! I was up at 3:45 am my time to book our trip for 8 days out. (We check in Sunday but going to the parks Monday.) we have 7 days of park tickets and put MK as two of our farthest days out with Tiana being our priority. We were able to modify and get everything we wanted. The only plan i had to change was we wanted Slinky Dog for the morning of the 26th because we plan to start at HS and hop and it wasn’t available until 7:30 pm so i swapped it out for something else and was able to get a morning time for the morning of December 1st.

I found the system really intuitive and 5 minutes was plenty of time to modify my times and purchase. I had no issues with my credit card and I booked for 7 days.

My only complaint is seeing the credit card charges come though for 7 days worth of this stuff. We are Disneyland locals and have only been to Disney World once, my kids are teens so this is probably our last trip over to Florida so wanted to splurge.

Thanks everyone! Can’t wait until we leave!

A couple days ago a member of our party got sick and couldn’t join us for our park day. Guest Relations at a blue umbrella in the park refunded his LLMP and LLSP purchase for that day, no issues. Refunds were already on the gc used when we checked it a couple hours later.

Booking window opens at 7 a.m.--correct?

I just did this in September but I can't remember if it's 6 a.m. or 7 a.m. Eastern Time that the booking window opens.

Thanks!

We visited the last week of October, first time in 5 years, for one day during our Universal trip. We decided to try the 4-park challenge. We purchased the multi LL, starting at AK. We purchased the single LL for FOP and GOG. We got the virtual cue for Tiana at 7 and Ubered over from Dockside. Had early Tuskers breakfast and were able to get into the park early. We got on Dinosaur, EE, FOP, Navi, Safari. Immediately booked with each use another LL. Took the bus to HS at 10 ish. Got on RR, TOT, ST, ROR, SD, MF, Aliens, MMRR, TS. All with LL except ROR and SD. Took Skyliner to Epcot at 4:30. Visited many food booths and got on GOG with our LL. Took the monorail to MK, got there about 8. Did Tiana (no problem though the VC was called hours before), POC, JC, HM, BTRR, SDMT and Tron (MK open till 11). All LL except Tiana, SDMT, and Tron. We took the ferry to the TTC and Ubered back to Dockside. It was exhausting but we had a great time and did tons of rides with the LL and refreshing for more.

Hi all
Quick question. when I tap into my first ride of the day (tier 1 or 2) can I book another tier 1 if available? Can i hold two tier 1’s at the same time?
Thanks

Yes once you tap in to your first LLMP attraction tiers are unlocked. Tier restrictions are only applied to your up to 3 initial LLMP selections.

Can i hold two tier 1’s at the same time?
Yes you could even end up with 3 Tier 1 attractions after you unlock by taping in to your first LLMP attraction.

Resort guests may book 7 days before arrival day. Non-resort guests may book 3 days before their ticket start date.

We go in mid January but I can see up to a month ahead now and it looks like I can purchase it now. IS that right? Or is it that I can purchase LLMP and LLIP but have to wait until 7 days before to book the attractions?

You cannot purchase anything until the timeframes I posted above.

Right. You can see months out and you can select the day, the pass, the park, and the ride, but all of your party members will show as not eligible until your window shows up.

Thanks Dave!

Just purchased two multi pass days. Very intuitive and smooth process but I have a feeling this won’t be as beneficial to us as genie plus was. Typically we don’t arrive super early to the parks so getting two tier one rides in a day doesn’t seem overly likely, especially around the busy season. With test track down we skipped it at Epcot for this very reason.

How is the interaction with ADR's and multipass going for everyone?

Has anyone tried cancelling and rebooking ADR's recently?

Any success stories?

Same here. We rarely get to the parks before Noon. It’s a disadvantage no question. We did well with locking in the priorities and having a second day to hit anything else you want to do. We didn’t do Slinky Dog (conflicted w/dinner location) or Smuggler’s Run (just weird). Otherwise we checked every box at least once.

I didn't have any trouble getting three desired LL per day that worked around our ADRs. As long as you have one that occurs around the time you plan to enter the park, you can reuse that one as soon as you use it. You can also modify your times once you're in the park without regard for ADR times. We had too many people and some hard to get ADRs, so I never considered cancelling and rebooking the dining. Even so I was happy with the LLs I could pre select despite being limited by our daily lunch reservation. We used MP and did all of the SP in each of the four parks. We were very pleased with the experience.

With RnR going down for the retheme, I wonder if they will shift anything in regards to LL. I was hoping ToT would move up to tier 1 but not likely to happen.
