Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Well based on today's data so far BTMRR has return times at 8:50 tonight, HM is gone, JK is 9:15 tonight. Not looking good so far.

Dave
I noticed that. We may plan to try BTMRR before park close instead. Maybe they’ll do some additional drops today 🤞🏻

Yes it's shocking that you can't get a refund where are the consumer's laws??? It made sense with genie+ because you were buying it the day of, but we are buying this two weeks in advance, what if there is an hurricane what if one gets sick etc....
Consumer protection laws isn't some all-encompassing blanket thing, just because you don't like the terms and conditions of something does not mean it's at all applicable to that. It's also not considering the slew of non-refundable items people have been purchasing for years at Disney. This is not the first time people have had to book something that lists non-refundable.

When there is a hurricane Disney has a hurricane policy they will use. A hurricane 1 week out vs a hurricane 2 days out means two different things to Disney. It's Disney decision when they activate the policy but one does exist. We were there during Irma and trust me they took care of people. As far as people getting sick that's part of trips and is not going to be uniformly applied to people. That is a case by case basis and no where near the amount of people who do actually get sick even think to get a refund because again it's part of a trip.

Ok I got single pass for Rise and multipass but was restricted to 1 tier 1 for TODAY - I thought that restriction didn't apply to same day bookings for some reason?? Maybe I read that wrong but am super annoyed.

BTW - it let me start the process at 6:59 to get through the screens so would recommend that. Got 9:35am window for Rise.
Thank you for the tip to get to the screen before choosing party before 7 then pushing continue at 7. I will try that tomorrow when I can get LL for my August 2 trip.

Well I didn't know that, so I asked. Thanks Dave.
No problem a valid question for a new system.

Another way to look at it is to think of it as purchasing tickets for a flight. Once the seats are all purchased you can't add guests to your reservation. Seats may open up later but they would need to book a new reservation, trying to get them on your row is next to impossible unless you are on SW (just a little humor...)

I know it says on-site gets 7 days in advance, then it says AP gets 3 days in advance.
Has anyone confirmed yet that an on-site AP has 7 days?

It's 7 days in advance with an on-site room regardless of ticket type.

I realize the answer is probably no, but was there any discount offered for purchasing LLMPs for, say, the entire length of stay? Or length of stay minus arrival and departure days?

It seems like on-site guests should get some kind of discount, although perhaps the discount is built in and day-of purchase will be more expensive? Or is the real advantage that one can get better choices than people who book their LLMPs later than 7 days in advance?

Just wondering. A girl can dream.

Hopefully they still sprinkle in some new slots during the day like old Fastpass / Genie +. If there isn't any fiddle faddling, then really doesn't seem worth it currently.
