Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Just read through the last 10 pages, It seems like everybody 'has' been able to pre book ride choices with satisfaction. What I'm also reading is that trying to modify usually results in late day times?

I think reviews over the next couple of weeks may give better insight into availability and those times for selections "#4,5,6".
If you can initially book 3 for morning of park visit but those additional picks are late day, all day park touring isn't the same as before - hopping would be the strategy?

Same-day availability is naturally going to be slimmer with this new system. Everyone gets to pick three attractions to reserve in advance, so that takes slots out of the same-day pool. But I'd MUCH rather have a system where I can reserve three things ahead of time. And as always, same-day availability is going to fluctuate as people's plans change. I've already seen some attractions that were initially "gone" come back with slots here and there.

I do not see any character meet-and-greets or parade viewing options in the app when booking. I don't think this is true.
Correct the M&G and parade were removed when the system switched to the new LLMP / LLSP system. Disney did not list any of these as being part of the new system.

There was some confusion over night as the system switched over they were there for a while but they were gone this morning well before 7 AM.

Tiana’s is LL, Tiana has been LL since it opened. It was never a separate ILL.
Yes, what I'm referencing is Tiana's now having the virtual queue alongside an option to book a MPLL 7 days in advance, rather than ILL. But thank you for the clarification!

The one that shocks me for today, this minute is - Spaceship Earth- 7:50pm! I guess people are booking that as a first Tier 2 to quickly get on as they enter to make another selection.

Is there a price option for park hopping guests with the new Multipass? I see single parks but not park hopping price. Am I missing something?

The Standby queues were still relativity short for earlier this morning (before 10 AM) which points to the fact that RD is still an option and is Free.

Yes I know and we would rope drop a lot of times, but it also puts more importance on rope drop. Therefore if more people start doing rope drop it will also diminish the advantage of rope drop. At least with Genie I could enter a park in the evening with 5 rides stacked. Now it feels like it’s rope drop or bust…

I agree that it's free but last august, for example, it took us 45 minutes to get through security and tapstiles at rope drop at MK to get to our first ride, so you still have to wait in a long line albeit a different one.

I guess I would assume people will behave the same with Tiana as they did under Genie+, I don’t personally think the prebooking aspect changes whether people will opt for the queue instead but we will see! Rumour has it the queue is gone soon anyways.

I don’t know if that’s necessarily true. Yea there are lots of bloggers, but is that enough to offset the number of visitors during peak times like Christmas, Spring Break, Presidents Day, etc as well as also offsetting all the resort guest in the future who can pre book for the entire length of their stay?
We were among the first groups to use Genie+ and I remember rides were also taken very quickly. Unfortunately, this means a price hike for LLMP in the very near future if this trend continues.

Not needed. You purchase your first park to make 3 pre-selections. After you use the first LLMP (or it expires), you can book another attraction - any tier and any park (if you have a hopper ticket).

No separate pricing for park hopping. You purchase LLMP for your first park of the day and after redeeming your first LLMP in that park, you can book another in a different park.

I mean, to be fair what else are people going to book at Epcot for their tier twos? I say this as someone who adores Spaceship Earth, but in terms of wait times Epcot is really big lines at the tier one attractions and then everything else you can get on with minimal wait, often times walk on.

I feel dumb- how is everyone who isn't there now or has a trip within next 7 days even seeing what's available? The only days that start to show up for me are 7/31 and even then I'd have to purchase before I can see?

What am I missing here?

For today? I’ve seen all of these pop back up with times when refreshing within the last 30 min or so. Not sure if it’ll be the same once we get into people booking 7 days out though.
I have seen the same behavior but I expect it to be the Vloggers, Bloggers, Influencers, etc. They are making and changing experiences over an over. We just don't know how many opening are available at any time, it may be only 1.

Dave

Just sitting here watching the app for today -another observation/prediction, people will need to spend as much time or more on phones as with Genie+ refreshing and hoping times open-there are so many attractions with no availability left would have plenty of availability with Genie+ at this same time.
