Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

I had the same initial thoughts, but if your imagining waking up the morning of a future trip and seeing this availability…. This is the availability AFTER you booked your attractions 3-7 days prior and after everyone else is done booking them too. Very few people will be booking morning of each day
I know you’re right about the 3 options I can get in advance but I guess I’d have to be okay with settling for standby for the other rides we want to do which is less than ideal.

ok, pretend I'm dumb......really don't need to pretend, how would one set up rides in you only planned to go into park every other day. So if I plan to go into parks Dec 1,3,5,8,and 10. I would need to purchase every other day starting Nov 24? Our tickets are Nov 30, but not sure if we'd make it into the park.

We actually have 10 day tickets, but plan for off days to maybe go into park just to catch a show like Christmas processional or Fantasmic,

Has anyone actually been able to view tip boards for future days? I'm not eligible to purchase yet so I can select date and park but it doesn't let you past that without eligible guests. Any reports from people booking 7 days in advance of their trip? Mine starts on the 10th and I'm really interested to know what availability looks like!

Is anyone else able to see the prices in advance past 7 days? I currently have a few days left of a non expiring ticket and I am able to see the prices through 8/13. Just wondering if the prices listed are good prices?

If you are staying on-site, you can book for all days when you are 7 days out from your check in date.

I would personally buy LLMP and book Tiana (and two more). I would then join the Tron virtual queue the morning of your visit, educating yourself if you aren’t already familiar with how to pretty reliably get an early group.

If budget is not a concern, I’d just buy both LLMP and LLSP for Tron. But Tron is IMO an overpriced LLSP option.
Thank you! I was able to grab Tiana this morning!!! YAY!!!
Is there a link anyone could post for educating myself on how to pretty reliably get a morning boarding group?

Thrill data tracks how quickly Tron VQ is gone each morning. Usually within seconds. Make sure you press join at 7:00:00 on the dot.

Have any International visitors succeeded in booking LLMP from outside US by turning off Location Services on their iPhone?

Latest reports are that for UK guests, if you turn off location services for the app, AND set your country of residence in MDE to USA, then it should work. Some have talked about also enabling flight mode and then turning wifi back on, and even rebooting, but the key thing seems to be the country of residence and location services off.

Those prices should be locked in. I would not expect them to change.

We are planning a day or two of resort days before heading to parks. To take it to extreme, if we checked in Dec 1 but didn't go to the parks until Dec 9, we still can book, Nov. 24th?

Yes. Starting 7 days before your check-in day, you can book for up to 14 days (ticket dependent) after your check-in day.

I never found the popular rides gone by mid-day with Genie+- maybe SDD, but that's it. And if you knew the Genie+ daily drop times, they were refreshed on a schedule.
All rides today were gone much earlier than Genie+. You had to be very lucky to snag the few and far between times that popped up today. I hope they just released less than usual since they were unsure of how things would play out.
THIS. This to me is the one real, big, important question about the new system - Will it have as many LL spots per ride as under Genie+?

If so (and why wouldn't it, especially considering fewer people using LL for DAS), then availability across the board should stay about the same. Just because people can book earlier, doesn't mean MORE people are booking. So, if most rides had Genie+ spots available throughout the day, and didn't sell out, that should stay the same under LLMP.

The reports of lower-tier rides selling out, and others like HM booking up right away, suggest otherwise. I too hope this more of a result of first day anomalies; if not, it does mean they've clawed back LL slots.

Speaking of which - for the folk that are there - how do the actual L Lanes look? Are they moving faster? Are there noticeably fewer people in them?

Sorry haven’t read through everything but if I have hoppers and I start out the day in MK and hop to AK in the afternoon - can I purchase Avatar at the time of getting my 3 rides for MK?

I appreciate that and I'm glad to hear about Disney Hurricane Policy, which reasures me quite a bit, however we might be coming from two different places. For this perk we will be spending over $3000, it's no small amount what if the family comes down with COVID or Influenza and was out of action? Sure we do have travel insurance but I still believe that when the item you purchase is of such a high amount the vendor should still hold some responsibility.
Yes we do appear to be coming at it from different places

It’s actually significantly different in price. All the blogs seem to be saying it’s the same cost as genie+ but they’re overlooking that the MK genie+ price gave you access to 4 parks. That ain’t an option any more. So if you visit two parks and want to use it in both it’s something like a 75% increase.
Where on earth are you getting this awful, inaccurate information? Where ever it is, stop lol. You buy it for one park, the first you want to go to that day, and then can use it at any other park that day. You don't have to buy it multiple times a day

I’m not trying to be a troll, but what ride at MK needs a fastlane in the next month? Tron and Minecar are individual purchases and Pan’s down. Maybe there’s some worry about not getting a chance to ride Tiana, but the rest of the rides at MK have rapidly moving queues. On top of that, summer crowds are low. Other than fomo, what is this giving you at mk other than a lighter wallet?
BTMRR, Space Mountain, & JC had long waits. We skipped Space Mountain & JC for BTMRR LL. Pooh has a long wait, we EE that it was walk on. LL TBA due to never being on SM/TBA.

Yes. The limitation day of is just availability.
When exactly can you change the tier 2’s to tier 1’s? It’s not at 7 AM in the morning, day-of is it? I thought it was once you tapped into your first attraction,…. or entered the park?

Yes, in addition to purchasing a LL Multi Pass for one park (pre-book up to three rides there) you can also purchase up to two LL Single Passes, for single attractions at any park (such as Avatar Flight of Passage).
