Wondering what some good rides would be to hop on right after doing Mine Train at park open? I've researched and know how to get to mine train and avoid the initial line so where should I go after that?

We did Mine Train after our BOG breakfast, prior to park opening, but we went from there to Peter Pan, then Haunted Mansion, BTMMR, Splash and I think Pirates....not necessarily in that order after Peter Pan, but something like that. We were done with all that by 11am probably. If you are Rope Dropping Mine Train though, the line for Peter Pan will already be long when you finish so you may have to skip that. You could try to hit some other rides around Mine Train instead of Peter Pan like Under the Sea and Winnie the Pooh then move on to HM, BTMRR, Splash etc. I have seen some people go right over to Tomorrowland and ride Space Mountain with a minimal wait as well.

Peter Pan if it's not a mob scene yet there. Lowest waits will probably still be over by Pirates, Splash, Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion area. As people tend to all rush to 7DMT/PP, and then others head over toward Space Mountain

Peter Pan, if you are near the front. Pooh, if you want to ride it. Later in the day, lines get longer. Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder, Splash, Jungle Cruise and Pirates generally start slow in the morning. Of course Splash eats up a lot of time.

I echo the advice to try Peter Pan. If it is showing much of a queue then keep walking toward Liberty Square, Frontierland, and/or Adventureland. You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish there at that time of day.
