In Nassau, the shopping is withing a few minutes walking. You dock at the pier (no tendering) and you walk through their security. There is actually shopping in this building. You then walk through the taxi area and you will start to see shops. To your right is the Straw Market. The Straw Market has lots of straw things (lol) t-shirts, polos, tropical clothing.

Don't be afraid to bargin. Walk away if it is more than you want to spend.
