Palm Springs. DW and I have gone out there a few times for our (August) anniversary. Yes, hot as Hades, but also vacant, really great rates on rooms, REALLY quiet, and the locals that are around are incredibly grateful for us to visit. We've also gone out a few times for a massive lacrosse tournament in Coachella - always a good time.

BUT...

It's a retirement community, it's hot, and our little getaways were more than long enough.

Anywhere that doesn’t get 4 seasons.
