trying to get all our ressies set for our August trip. Seems like, with our group size (sometimes 5, sometimes 8 plus a baby, sometimes 12 plus baby) not all restaurants can accommodate us as easily as others. For example -- HDDR and Chef Mickey's and Ohana all were able to seat our party of 8 plus baby at one table. But not Prime time -- that would require 2 tables. And quite obviously Beaches and Cream would be difficult for a group our size! (unless we do take-out!)

What other restaurants are well suited to large groups? Mind you, we can spilt up when necessary, but having one big table is really so very nice. We ate at Garden Grille last time instead of Teppanyaki or WC all because it said it could accommodate our party (the other 2 places said 2 tables). THen, when we got there -- they put us at 3 tables! Had I but known, we would have opted for the 2 tables at WC or Teppanyaki! The CM told me that ChefM's and Ohana are DEFINITELY one table -- can I take that as gospel?

Any help from fellow large parties appreciated...

The Biergarten, Germany at Epcot had large tables. There was just the two of us and we sat at a table for 12. The food was good and there is also a show, a polka band that had all the kids dancing. It was great fun. I think that Boma also had some large tables. You might also try Liberty Tree Tavern at MK and Hollywood and Vine at MGM.

There is a large table in the center of the room at Spoodles. I would guess it seats 12, but maybe only 10. You might check on this one.

I have seen large parties of 15 or so at Yachtsman Steakhouse. They just put tables together. I have seen the same thing at Cape May Cafe and Calif Grille.

With the way that priority seatings are handled, not as regular reservations, I wouldn't take it as gospel that you'd be seated together at one table. I've never been part of a large group, but I would think that there are too many variables in the equation. Things like, if there was a large group that came in before you and ran over the "average."
