Places to stay the nite before in Port Canaveral ?

Hey everbody who flew in a day early and stayed in the Port Canaveral. I need suggestions for Hotels and transportation Thanks ahead of time. Jeff

I highly recommend the Radisson Hotel @ Port Canaveral. We stayed there last year and already have our reservations in place for this year!

As for transportation, I suggest a towncar or limo to take you from the airport to the hotel. If you stay at the Radisson, they have a free shuttle to take you to the ship.

Tiffany Towncar, yourride, Happy Limo and Fl Tours are all good options for your transportation from the airport.

We took TiffanyTown Car from the airport to the Radisson at the Port -- and the next morning we took the 10:20 shuttle to the port--Tiffany then picked us up after the cruise--everything went so smoothly!!! Have Fun!!!

I second the suggestion of the Radisson. Beautiful resort - great pool -- the kids loved it! Plus if you drive you get free shuttle transportation and you can leave your car at the hotel. Saves you about $40.00 that you would spend if you park at the pier.

We also spent the day/nite before the cruise at the Radisson - great place. In fact next time we cruise we may spend several days there.

We ate in the dining room there and i was amazed - excellent food and reasonable prices.

We used FL Tours for our transportation, the are the official travel company of the DIS! Everything went very smooth - even though we were one of the last off the ship - just did not want to leave - so it was 9:00 am - we had planned on 8:30 - Andy was waiting for us and was very happy to see us - not a word about "being late"

We've booked the Hyatt in the MCO airport then we're having Cartier Towncar pick us up and drive us to the pier. I think Radisson and Hyatt are the two that come up most often on these boards. As far as transportation you may want to try the transportation board and read the reviews. Good luck!!

We are staying at the Courtyard. DH booked it so I'm not totally sure where it's at but I know that they let you park their car for no charge and they have a free shuttle.

What time do they pick you up at the port after the cruise?

I cannot wait for our first cruise, it's the Wonder.
