DH and I were talking last night and comparing notes on the different states we had lived in. Both of us are Air Force brats and DH is Air Force, so we know what moving is all about. Anyway, when I sat down and listed the states I was really quite amazed. Here's my list. Can anyone beat me?

4. Dayton, Ohio
5. Colorado Springs, Colorado
6. Phoenix, Arizona
7. Fort Walton Beach, Florida
8. Newport, Rhode Island

13. Spent 8 years in Germany

Yes, I feel like a migrant farm worker, and I'm sick and tired of moving.

I see a few military family posts..... but we'uns knowed as oil-field trash have been around for a bit too.

With Schlumberger, I started in Ventura CA, and also worked in Calgary, and New Orleans, LA.

But when I went to work for Halliburton (i know, i know, dick cheney's little fiasco...), I started in Houston, went to London, later returned for North Sea duty in Den Helder, Holland & Aberdeen, Scotland (abolutely the best posting ever with family along side), from there went to Port Gentil, Gabon, briefly back to the states, then on to Sumatra, Indonesia (cool duty, til the government went crazy).

Now, just back in plain old ordinary Houston, TX... I'm OK here, but if the travel bug calls again, I'm (we're) ready...
