I'm looking to stock up on small Disney trinkets/souvenir type items to keep on hand for day trips. Like less the $5. We have APs so we don't want to get in the habit of buying something every single time we go but it's nice to have a small item to use an incentive for good behavior. We have a 2 year old (almost 3) little girl.

Any tips on places to find this kind of stuff?

If you have a Five Below, they've been getting Disney merchandise lately, particularly Frozen. As the name implies, most everything in the store is $5 and under.

Hm, I don't think we have one of those. We are about an 1.5hours south west of Orlando.

The Target dollar spot is a great place to find stuff! They had a bunch of Disney stuff yesterday.

Any of the dollar stores. I picked up quite a few glow sticks/wands/swords at the Dollar General store but I've also seen them at Dollar Tree and our 2.5 DS LOVED having those to play with.

Target will often have a $1 bin that has Disney stuff. Check also the clearance section of Walmart.

If you have a mega grocery store (like our Kroger has clothes, furniture, toys, etc.) they often have clearance items there as well. I got a cute little Jake and Neverland Pirates set for <$3, several of the small Potato Head toys for <$5 and more.
