Places at Aulani that don’t take Disney gift card?

We are going to Aulani for 7 nights in April. I am currently picking up Disney gift cards when I can get them around 10% off.
I think I heard somewhere you can’t use them at luau since it is run by a 3rd party. Is there anywhere else that I wouldnt be able to use them? Just trying to get a rough estimate of how much to have.

We will be doing the character breakfast, photopass, sunset photo shoot, cabana, massage and salon. Lots of merch and food.

Thank you. We will be spending time exploring Oahu and I am fully aware I will also need a large budget of cash for things outside Aulani.

The lu'au is the only one I can think of at the resort itself, plus cash for tips.

For my family of 5 for 8 nights, I'm planning $5,000 for food, merch, and recreation. Of that, I'll probably bring $1,000 to $2,000 in gift cards.

Thank you for your response. We are also a family of 5 and after doing a quick itinerary of plans and eating I came up with about $5000 for an estimate too. We are doing two nights in Waikiki before 7 nights at Aulani. It is our first and probably only trip to to Aulani so we will probably spend more. Thinking of maybe more like $3000 in gift cards. We will be eating at Makahiki breakfast and dinner which adds up for 5. Plus we will be there for Easter and my DD’s 5th birthday so we are already planning to bring an extra suitcase for all the cute stuff available in the shops.
Have to remember to add extra cash for tips too. Thanks!
