Placeholder Question

What is current amount that has to be applied? Can you apply more than that amount? Do they have a cast member help you book it or what is the process at this time?

The placeholder is $250 and there is not currently an option for anything but that amount. You can do it in the app once onboard. There used to be a future cruise desk with a cast member to assist, but that has not yet returned.

I hope that comes back this year. I always enjoyed booking a future cruise while sailing.

You can also book a placeholder at guest services if the app isn't working or if you just want to talk to somebody about it. But, you still can't book a specific cruise with that option. Either way, make sure that you get the confirmation email within 2-3 days after the cruise ends. If you don't, follow up by contacting DCL. Some of the placeholders seem to be getting lost somewhere between the ship and the shoreside staff that handles them.
