place to stop along US 10 in FL?

We plan on stopping for the night somewhere on 10 in Florida. We'll be coming from the direction of Dothan, AL to 10 around Tallahassee, and want to get around 4 to 3 hours from Orlando. Does anyone know any towns right off the interstate to stop for the night? We hope to make it that far, but if not would Dothan be a good stop for the night? Thanks!

We made an impromptu trip down to WDW when we had to visit relatives in Pensacola a couple of years ago. We stopped at a hotel, either a Super 8 or Comfort Inn, at the intersection of I-10 and I-75.

It was about 4 hours to WDW from there.

Can you remember what town it was that you stopped in?

I have no clue, it was just a hotel near the interchange where I-10 and I-75 meet.

Looking at MapQuest, there is a Springville close by on I-75

and you will pass Live Oak at exit 283 on I-10.

A larger town is Lake City, FL which is just East of I-75 and just South of I-10.

The interchange is at Exit 296 off of I-10
