Place to staying during Christmas

Thinking about driving down to Orlando during the week after xmas. We are DVC members but will not be booking this trip on points and thought we might try something off site for a change. We would like a nice condo rental with resort like ammenities. I have never stayed off site so this is going to be a change but I still think it would be fun. We enjoy a nice pool with a pool slide if possible and resort activities for the kids. Any suggestions?

We really like the location of Windsor Hills for an offsite. They have a nice community pool with slide and it's a gated community. You can do a search on the boards for specific homes/condos. We have used VRBO for WH.

There are lots of great timeshare resorts in the area that would fit the bill for you too. For a seven day stay, you may want to check out owner rentals on TUG2.net or Redweek.com. Timeshares we've stayed at in the last few year and really enjoyed are Sheraton Vistana Resort and Cypress Point. We've found lots of owner rentals available for both of these places and really like the resorts.

We'll be staying at Bonnet Creek that week. It's right next to the CBR and central to most WDW locations. The suites look beautiful, and the lure of having that kind of space and ammenities at that time of the year is what sold us on booking there. If you check out the Bonnet Creek thread on this board, you'll find tons of information about the place, like how to reserve a room, what you can expect to pay, what people have to say about the place, etc.
