Place to eat around Boardwalk?

We're staying at the Dolphin and looking for a place to eat around the Boardwalk area. Are there any places to walk up? Any recommendations for places to reserve?
Depending on your length of stay and your itinerary, we have gone into Epcot, got some food in France and brought it out to the open tables and chairs on the Boardwalk. It’s a little bit of a hike, but you could take the boat. It’s kind of a neat novelty that you’re so close to Epcot that you can do that. But again, depends on the above and there are the places already along the Boardwalk to enjoy.

Boardwalk has FlyingFish which we recommend if you walk to the Beach club you have Beaches and Cream and Yachtsmen Steakhouse ....Only thing is Flying Fish and Yachtsmen are closed right now

Trattoria often lets you join the virtual waitlist with low wait times. Abracadabar is walk-up only and has a great charcuterie board and truffle fries. We’ve also been able to order off the Trattoria menu there, as they share a kitchen.

No one has mentioned Kimonos yet and I highly recommend it. Located in Swan. No reservation needed. DH is not a sushi fan, but he has several options he loves: gyoza, seared tuna, and beef satay.

Another late vote for Kimonos at the Swan. No reservation needed. Our group went several times over the course of our trip. Il Mulino is also amazing and had a lot of walk up available. Way easier to do no reservations at the Swan and Dolphin themselves than the restaurants surrounding and the quality is usually better (as are the prices except for Shulas)

There are tons of options, my favorite two would be the &’s (Beaches & Cream, Ale & Compass). As far as walk-up places, there aren’t quite as many. The pizza window is there but I’ve never actually had it. If Ale & Compass lounge is open, that could be a good option. Same with Martha’s Vineyard, though that’s more appetizers.

Anyone ever use Opentable to make a reservation at Big River Grill or anywhere else?

I've used it several times for Il Mulino. I also use it for other restaurants around the area.

I really love Shula's. One of the best cuts you are going to get on property. It does come with a higher price tag though but for a special occasion it is completely worth it.
