Place to Drop Off/Pick Up Passengers at Universal/IOA??

I've driven to Uni/IOA from WDW a number of times and parked in their garage, but I can't recall seeing an area to drop of my son and his girlfriend where they can walk in. I'm told (here) that there is such a place and that they can then get a cab home from there. Can someone 'talk me in' from rte 4 or is there a map?

There is a place just around the corner from the garage entrance. I can't remember the name of the street but instead of truning into the garage entrance you would head as if you were going to the HRH or PB...it will be a very sharp right.... the bus & taxi stops are there as well. It is a very dangerous curve.... you exit out the same way..... hope this helps

We'll probably be there very early. In years past there's been no traffic at all when we arrived so I can afford to take it slow. Thanks for the info.

There is signage with arrows that point to parking and pick-up/dropoff. I forget the specific street name, but if you follow the arrows, it shouldn't be any problem.

The sign also says Buses, because that's the same entrance the buses and taxis use. The entrance is between the garages. If you're coming from Kirkman on to Major Blvd, you make a left in front of the HRH, and then another left just before the walkway goes over your head. To the right is Valet.
If you're coming from I-Drive to Universal Blvd, you go past the parking entrance, which is on your right, go under the walkway bridge, and then make a right.
But like others have said, it's a tricky curve.
