Great idea. I was thinking along those lines. Even with Premier at Epcot, we do enjoy GOG quite a bit!

Remember that Cosmic Rewind is LLSP— so you can just buy that in advance along with Pandora’s LLSP. Also, my pro tip is to avoid doing Cosmic Rewind after about 7PM, the LL often gets very long in the evening.

I’m glad it worked out for you, not sure what days you’re referring to because cosmic rewind was having tough operational days on Fri and Sat—we had LLSP both days where the LL was out the door (before 6pm) and they were estimating over 1h in LL, when I mentioned that I can’t stand in lines that long due to a spine issue, they suggested I just come back later or a different day.

I suppose it’s at least possible standby gets better in the evening but LL gets worse, as a lot of people with unused LL from all day pile in while the standby estimate turns sane people away (ETA, didn’t mean to imply you aren’t sane, I’d do it too if I could, but many people don’t want to wait 70+ minutes for any coaster, even a great one).

Those inflated wait times successfully turn away guests who aren’t familiar with the standard closing procedures. Disney does a very good job as discouraging late riders and funneling them to the gift shops then eventually the exits.

This trip, you could plan for the posted waits to be very close to double the actual wait times after about 7 pm or so. We’ve never waited anywhere close to 70 minutes for this attraction, even when the posted waits approach 2 hours.

I did look at the stats from Friday and Saturday. Friday didn’t look to bad but Saturday looked crazy.

Things were back to normal yesterday. At 8 pm, the posted wait was 85 with an actual wait of 40.

Thank you, yes, we will be getting FOP LLSP. We will have Premier pass for Epcot when we hop on over there. If available, probably a long shot, but will try for the Cosmic Rewind LLSP (more than once is so fun!) if the stars line up...lol. But we will at least have the Premier Pass for Epcot, so there's that.

Apologies if I missed this in one of the 280 pages, but wanted to ask about the procedures if a ride is closed during your LL time window, particularly given high chances of rain this time of year.

1. I think for a multi-pass attraction, if the ride is down during your window, you get a multi-experience pass that you can use (a) for any attraction (except for, I assume, the single-pass rides), (b) at any time that day, and (c) in any park (if you have a hopper)?

2. If a single-pass attraction is down during your window, I assume you are able to use the pass on that ride any time for the rest of the day?

3. For either pass type, what happens if your window is towards the end of the day, and the ride is down then? I.e., you really can't use the pass. Do you get a full or pro-rated refund? Option of using it another day?

For #1 the multiple experience LLMP attractions you get when a ride is down during your scheduled LLMP return time is determined based on the tier structure of the park where you earned it. If you have a tier 1 booked and it goes down you can use the multiple experience LLMP on a tier 1 or a tier 2. If you have a tier 2 booked and it goes down you can only use the multiple experience LLMP on a tier 2.

Additionally, the multiple experience LLMP is locked to the park where the ride went down even if you have a park hopper ticket UNLESS your LLMP return time was originally scheduled during the last operating hour of that park. If that happens, the LLMP is for any park the next day.

The app will show the exact details of where and when the recovery LLMP can be used.

#2 is correct.

#3 is answered in #1 based on the time of your originally scheduled LLMP. If the ride goes down during your last day and you won't be able to use it tomorrow, stop by Guest Relations or speak with someone at a blue umbrella about what can possible be done for you.

Our priorities for Epcot (in order) would be: GOTG, Remy, Test Track, Mission Space. If lines are super low, could hit another attraction or two but we're going in with the assumption of an "Epcot light" day.

We definitely wouldn't be getting LLSP and willing to wait it out for GOTG and Rise. So... with those details - would you splurge on LLMP that day for a family of 4?

So in the little I've seen about your plans, I'm not sure LLMP would be worth it, as long as you're ok with the standby lines. But LLMP would improve your chances of getting on all 4 of your EPCOT priorities since you'd have a scheduled LL for Remy and MS. Tough call. In my experience, on a slow day, if you book Test Track or Remy at 11 and do it close to 11, you should be able to pick up ToT and at least one other "good" LL at DHS later, but your odds of getting more than one good LL at Epcot are low... if you're willing to play the refresh game frequently, you could find more availability for most rides, though I wouldn't bet on getting Slinky.

Not sure what you are hoping to do, but I think that a LL for GOTG or TT would save you the most time. If you're not looking to use many LLs at DHS, you probably save money by buying LLSP for GOTG?

I don't know what the "stats" say - but that Friday evening was absolutely horrible! There was a whole thread about it because people who got in line around 6 with a posted 85 minute wait were in line around 2 1/2 hours! The ride kept going down for just a minute or two and the LL was out the door for over an hour while I was watching it. I know what you're saying about those wait times normally being inflated - we knew that getting in line but were so glad we did dinner first because we almost didn't.
