place to buy wine before getting on ship

Ok since we decided to rent a car to drive from our hotel (amerisuites northwest) to the avis drop off (anyone have directions by the way?) I thought I would pick up three bottles of wine to bring on board with us. I really like Pinot Grigio which they don't have available in room service. So I need to find a place near the port or our hotel that sells pinot grigio (preferably La Rico or Turning leaf) I could just buy it here and bring it buy I figured if I can get in in Florida why bother lugging it around. thanks in advance Ann

Ann, In case you don't know Disney charges $15 plus tip if you bring wine to dinner and they open it. They call it a corkage fee. Cheers, Gary

I would imagine you could find those brands at the grocery store. They sell beer and wine (but not liquor) in grocery stores in Florida. Publix (shown on my map, cited by Cruise) has a decent selection. If you have highbrow tastes or also want liquor, you could get them at ABC Wines and Liquors (also shown on my map).

Ann - ABC Liquior has these brands - they are less than $8.00 - they are located about in the 6300 block of A!A South --Beachside ok - also your package came back to me Saturday requiring more postage - will get it off to you today.

Thanks everyone, I will print out your maps dave. Shirley I will go to ABC as I really like that LaRico and it is hard to find in alot of places. Good now I don't have to bring it from MA. Thanks for letting me know about the package, do I need to send you more stamps? And Gary thanks, I did know about the corkage fee, this is just for our room for on the veranda. I buy by the glass at dinner.

Do they have carry on boxes at ABC or publix? Or can I just carry it in a bag from the store? Would I have to put in in my luggage? what about the 12pack of soda I want to get too?
