Bought a place holder about 10 days ago
already booked a cabin



but now my sister and brother in law are tempted to come
my hubby seem to recall when doing the place holder the cast member at guest services telling him he could book two cabins

but now I am booked already ( but will change my dates
can I book two cabins with the place holder ti get 10% off of each cabin ?

Did you buy two placeholders? I.e. leave $500 deposit or just $250. Each sailing u can get 2 placeholder per room. But you have to actually get a placeholder number for it to be valid.

Can call and kaybe they still pixie dust u and allow u to buy.

They mean you can buy two placeholders. Just like the above post, to get two placeholders it’s cost $500. I buy two most of the time. Both placeholders have to be used on the same cruise.

On our 2019 cruise DH and I each bought two placeholders for a total of $1,000. We were allowed to do this because we had two staterooms on this cruise; each of us was registered in one stateroom. We were then able to book four rooms on the next cruise, although we probably could have booked two rooms for one cruise, and two rooms for another ... Anyway, if you have only paid $250, then you likely cannot get another stateroom at the 10% off.

I thought I was told the same thing - one placeholder was good for two cabins if you booked them together - and not sure what together meant. Ask DCL or your travel agent to be sure!

Only if you put down a double deposit. Do, $500 total deposit for two cabins. And they must sail on the same cruise that you eventually book.

You also list a lead guest for each room - and that can’t be changed. (Although mixing up occupants is often done once onboard).

You can get your $250 per room back If you don’t sail within the 24 months.

There is no where to put a lead on the second room now since it’s done on the app. All my second placeholders since cruises restarted in 2021 now say TBD
