I just got off the dream and purchased a place holder. Generally how long does it take to get the info, to book using the place holder. Also what are the black out dates? We are looking to book 5 day cruise in August this year. Thank you.

When I booked a placeholder on the Dream in September, I never got the information. After about a week, I asked my travel agent if he got the information. He hadn't, so he called Disney and asked what's up. They had to send the information elsewhere, then back to him, so that took another couple of days. But it seemed like they would have just forgotten about it if he hadn't called.

So, if you don't hear anything after 1-2 weeks, you might want to call them.

Blackout dates are usually around the holidays. They should be listed on the website.

Sorry I don't have an answer to your question, but I am curious about your cruise this past week. Did you ever hear an estimate of the number of passengers on board? How was it?

It was amazing, we all had an amazing time. 1022 passengers

We got the email on the Sunday we booked and our TA emailed on Monday. I didn’t see either email until we were off the ship on Tuesday.

Thanks for asking this. i had to use the customer service desk because surprise surprise their app wasn’t working. He tried several different things to no success. They manually booked my placeholder. And I was expecting credit card charges and an email instantly. I had booked one vie the app in November and instantly got all the info.
