?PL transportation to kid clubs

hi everyone, our family will be having our first trip to wdw this July(i know less then idea time but, only time we have) my question is dh and i are planning on having one evening where the kids stay at one of the kid clubs and we go out to eat and visit pleasure island, how late does buses run between pleasure island and the resorts where the kids clubs are? i thought i had read some where that buses don't run much after the parks close, if this is so how does one get back to get their kids? is there just not as many or should you drive your self over or use a taxi? just trying to get everything figured out before we go so we are not standing around lost. also if buses are still available, anyone with experience on this, how much time should you allow your self to get back to the kids clubs? should you give yourself an hour ? thanks everyone
