Pkg day prior at Vancouver cruise terminal

It is a complicated story on a dark and stormy night, but bottom line question:
Does anyone know if you can you park overnight one day prior to cruise departure at the Vancouver cruise terminal? Or is the parking reservation tied to the cruise dates? I recollect reading somewhere where you needed to check into an office for cruise parking?

We will be driving from our home in Seattle

do you need to park downtown? Could you park at the airport and use the SkyTrain?

Parking at the airport - book online for the Jet Set parking to get a pretty good deal on parking for a week (follow the link and put in your info to get a quote) or 10 days. Even with the price of SkyTrain tickets you should save quite a bit of money over parking at the Cruise Terminal.

Parking reservations are booked on start and end dates. I don't think it has to exactly be your cruise start and end dates.

I'm driving up the day before, staying the night in Richmond, then driving in to Canada Place on the morning of departure, but I don't see why you couldn't reserve starting the night before.

It's definitely nice to just get off the ship, grab your bags, go downstairs to your car, and head for Seattle.

We stayed at the Pan Pacific last summer, but started our parking at the port reservation the night before the cruise. I arranged everything online before we went, so dates were set and everything was paid for. There were no problems, and in fact, it's all automated once you get there, and we never dealt with a human. Have fun!
