Not much is happening at the moment. I tried my dress on and its now miles too big for me as i've lost 2 stone but the dress shop said it won't be a problem to take in. I've also ordered a little jacket to wear at the DP, it cost £50 which I think it madness, i've picked a BM jacket which is good as the bride ones cost £99!

STILL waiting to hear from Rosie at Disney Floral, it has now been over 2 months since I spoke to her on the phone, I have no idea what is taking so long. Hopefully I'll have an e-mail when I go back to work on Monday as I've been on leave for a week if not I may scream.

That's all for now.

Oooh hope Disney Floral get back to you this week!

Great news on the dress and bolero - I think I will need one as well as it does get "chilly" :lmao: in the winter in Orlando

mmm yummy food... i cant wait to pick mine! thats great for loosing 2 stone- well done! :thumbsup2 i bet the dress was really loose if you lost that much weight!

Still nothing from Rosie, it'll be 10 weeks on Thursday since our conversation so I think i've been patient. Need to know the costs to see if we can afford it"

It was very very very big on me, can't wait to have it taken in.

Congratulations on the weight loss! I keep looking for my motivation to lose weight.....its not in the biscuit barrel :lmao: You havent got long now! :woohoo: Bet its getting so exciting!!

So I finally got an e-mail well 2 from Rosie at Disney Floral. DF was not impressed with the cost and so we aren't having much.

My flowers will look something like this:

And DF's:

The Dads etc will also have these and the Mum's on their wrists.

No floral at the WP apart from the petal toss.

Here is a lovely pic of the Key West room:

Because of that i've decided not to waste money on linens and to just have the white ones. I thought about having those flowers but they are too expensive so we'll just have some petals on the table and my flowers in a vase a bit like this:

And then at the DP these:

DF did say if I wanted flowers then I could have them but I said i'd rather have the Grand1 as an extra event on the Wedding Day instead and he agreed but this has led to timeline issues and i've posted about this on the main chatboard if anyone can help.

Glad you finally heard from Rosie. I think it is a good decision to use your budget for the Grand rather than floral - much more memorable :thumbsup2

Can you post the first floral budget as well as your new one? I'd love to see the differences in price

you bouquet is going to be beautiful! i love all one color flower-so elegant. i like the idea of having the rose petals on the tables with your bouquet in the middle. i think it will look very elegant and simple. floral is ridiculous with pricing. we are not having any floral at the WP either. it is better to spend it on something fun like your are doing for the grand 1! great ideas claire!:thumbsup2

That is what I thought.

We didn't really have a budget before we were kind of making it up as we went along. I will post my BEO when its done.

The linens we were going to have were $20 each. The Rose's in vases were $75 each with vase rental on top. I know some vase's to rent cost $15. A wreath/flower ring was $125. The cylinder with gel, LED lights and Mickey confetti that we are having for the dessert parties are $17 each.

I think DF nearly fell off his chair when I told him the cost.
