Still no tiara! damn you ebay! I have my final dress fitting today with my mom. Hopefully all the alterations went well. Then I'm going back home to Chicago to help my mom cook for tomorrow.

Ooh I love the melting pot and so does my DF, you'll have a great time. It's really a nice relaxing dinner. We really love the white chocolate fondues....so good! I've had milk chocolate based a few times but after the white chocolate there's no going back!

YUMM! Good to know, whatever we order I want them to flambe it table side. They also have Rosa Regale listed on their wine list, that is all DF and I drink in disney so we are looking forward to a bottle of that

So my day started off bad because I slept in too late. This made me get up and rush to school to get to my advising appointment on time, which I did. I find out that I only need 18 credits to graduate, no prob, 1 semester left! Actually no, University of Wisconsin college system is HORRIBLE! they do everything they can to keep people in school longer which puts more money in their pockets. One of my classes isn't being offered next semester, and nobody knows when that class will be available. So me and however many other people sitting around waiting for this one class to graduate continue to wait and then when the class does become available you better be on your computer at the exact moment classes open or else it will fill up and you wont get in.

So then i'm off to my first class. During our 10 minute break I decide to run and get a coffee down the hall. Apparently it is slow motion day at the coffee shop because it took the 2 girls working 15 minutes to make me latte. Ladies, it's not hard. I have an espresso machine so now I know how easy it actually is. Okay, so I'm a couple minutes late no biggie, wrong again! I get to class and teh doors are all locked, I knock, no one answers the door for me. So now I am stuck in the hallway (where I am writing this from) for 2 hours until class ends because all my stuff is in there

Next my DF calls me and lets me know that apparently the post office tried to deliver my tiara and now it is being sent back or something. He is fighting with them because they are saying they left notices. WE NEVER EVEN GOT ONE NOTICE!!!!! This is so stupid, I hate life today. I am for sure breaking my diet this afternoon.

So somewhere around 17,000.00 total is what our whole wedding trip will cost. Considering that is is for a wedding AND a honeymoon it is really not that bad.

Sorry you had such a bad day. That really sounds so annoying, and I hate those days when you just can't catch a break.

I hope you're able to get your tiara. I hate when they leave those notices, especially when the item would fit in the mailbox anyway. I always have to fill them out 2-3 times staying just leave it at my address before they actually do. It's even worse that you never got the notices though. Hope it works out!

thanks, I'm SOOO over college at this point. My opinion is that unless you are going to be a doctor or some type of specialized field there is really no point the classes are so dumb. I am majoring in English Literature and I have pretty much read the same books for every class. I have done the same Hemingway novel 4 times! It is so stupid, I have also been in school for 5 years now so its time for me to be done already.

My wonderful DF went down the the post office today for me to deal with the whole tiara issue. The guy at the front desk was being a real jerk and telling him he couldn't get it without the notice. After arguing with him for like 15 minutes he finally just asked to speak with a manager who was much nicer and brought out the package right away. I'm glad he went and not me because after the day i had i would have flipped out

I have absolutley no idea what kind of mints they are. In the picture they were light blue, pink, and white and they looked pretty in the slipper so I was just like, yah sounds good!

I was just trying to figure out who will be drinking and what because at almost 40.00 a bottle I dont want to waste anything. I think we decided on starting with 7 bottles of white and no red and people can just drink that and if it goes fast we might have to cut people off and say , uhm we cant afford to keep buying wine. I'm just afraid that because it is free people are going to go crazy and get really drunk, which is the last thing that I want.

I just found out that my parents are getting me a Kindle for my birthday. I am super excited for this

AND I IT!!!!!!

It is so pretty on, however it does seem a little flimsy. My other one was much more sturdy feeling. And the crystals can be moved around and placed at different angles which worries me that it is going to be really breakable. But I only need it for 1 day so I'm not too worried.

by the way I feel like i look REALLY old in these pics...gross.

Haha, you don't look *really* old in your pics!! I love the tiara, very bright and shiny. And one positive about the "flimsy" feeling is that it should weigh less and will probably be more comfortable in the long run.

And yay for the kindle. I'm more of a paperback girl myself, but birthday presents are fun! I'm getting a new camera for mine :thumbsup:
