I am going to DLP with my family in January and would like to know where can you get the scrummiest pizzas in DLP?
At home my favourites are from Pizza Express.

PIZZA PLANET!! lol.... pizza burger... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.......

i got so over-excited about going to pizza planet (over in the far corner of discoveryland)... just cos it was like in Toy Story

Of the three places I have had a Pizza I would rate them:

3. Pizza Planet
2. Restaurant en Coulisse
1. Pizzeria Bella Notte

Marco's Pizza Parlour in the Explorer's Hotel - absolutely gorgeous pizzas!!

Everytime I walked past that on my last visit to Disneyland, it was closed! I have been to Disneyland quite a few times now and everytime it's been closed!

What does pizza planet look like from the outside and is it affordable.

Pizza Planet is like most of the counter service food places in DLRP which are fairly reasonable and offer meal deals for, I think, €9,90

If you like Pizza Express then I'd recommend Bizzeria Bella Notte as a better option - they serve Italian style Pizzas and it's run by the famous Buitoni company - same price range and meal deals as Pizza Planet.

Best pizza's we've had are Belle Notte and Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost

Personally I like Colonel Hathi's. All the places I've eaten pizza (Colonel Hathi's, Pizza Planet and Pizzeria Bella Notta) serve pretty much the same standard of pizza, although the toppings at each place vary slightly. I've heard good things about Café Mickey too. Colonel Hathi's wins on atmosphere for me!

We were desparate to try Pizza Planet as DD(3) is a big Toy Story fan but it was never open during our visit

Hopefully, Pizza planet might open more when Buzz opens, But the Videooppalis seems to cover all the discoveryland food easily.

I've allways wanted to at least lookinside this one.

Pizza Planet was actualy the first place I ate in DLP back in 2001, we arrived around lunch time and went in.

Things might have changed over the last 4 years but I thought it was awful, there's no windows, it was very smokey (from all the people smoking) and it just looked like it needed a complete update.

It's been shut everytime I've been since but to be honest I don't think I'll ever venture in there again.

We all love Pizza Planet. There is a great play area for the kids and the last time we were there Goofy came in and played with all the kids.

The food itself is ok.Not the most fantastic pizza we have ever tasted but it did the job and we got to eat in peace as the l
kids let of some steam.

We were hoping it was open mid november when we go as we thought it would be a good place to warm up if it got too cold.

Can anyone confirm if it will be open?

I really like the food in Pizza Planet espaecially as it is the shape of Mickey Mouse The times we have been in pizza planet there has hardly been anyone in especially the second time we had the place to ourselves. There is a place half way down Main Street on the right hand side walking down towards the castle that sold lovely slices of pizza, but can't remember the name of it. Paul

found it but it doesn't have restaurants on it... i'm sorry! hopefully someone else can be more help!
