Pizza question

Can you have something like Pizza Hut delivered to your room? I noticed you can have Disney deliver pizza, but it takes 2 dining credits. That seems like a huge waste.

I don't know if you can get outside pizza delivery, but if you can, I highly recommend it. I've tried the Disney pizza delivery twice and both times it was bad. And it took forever to get to the room. (The first time they forgot about us - after we waited an hour - and then we waited another half hour after we called several times!)

Yes, you can get outside pizza delivered, but from what I've read on these boards, you must meet the delivery person in the lobby of your resort. It seems they don't deliver directly to your room.

We ordered from Giordano's a couple weeks ago, staying at OKW and it was delivered to our room.
And it was wonderful Planning on ordering again in Sept.

I believe there's a company that delivers food from any outside restaurant to the Disney resorts...am I crazy?

I would suggest that you simply walk over to your food court (assuming you are staying at a resort with one) and pick up the pizza yourself. Then it is only 2 CS credits and you also get 2 drinks/2 desserts. We find this a great deal and their pizza is pretty good. I agree with you that 2 TS seems like a big waste. It is hard to believe anyone would pay that.

Giordano's really is great pizza if you like deep dish.

If you do end up ordering from off site, make sure to get plates and stuff.

Also...did you guys try their thin crust pizza? was it good?

I suggest getting pizza delivered because Disney Pizza needs more than pixie dust to help it, Yuck!

Pappa Johns delivers to OKW and the BWV but our all time favorite is Giordano's Pizza Delivery, it's spoiled us to anyonw else. I wish we could get it in south FL.

The Lake Buena Vista one is the one that delivered to us.
We got one deep dish...oh my and one thin crust...also very good. We had breakfast for 2 more days besides dinner.

I did a search online and found this. You can call to verify they deliver to WDW resorts. We haven't tried it yet, but have read great reviews. Plan on trying it during our trip in Aug. It's Chicago style pizza. Good Luck.

Last November my son in law had pizza delivered he had to meet them at the lobby of our resort, we were staying at All Star's Movies.
The pizza was way better than disney's pizza.

Giordano's is the best! We either have one delivered or go to the restaurant to eat. It's way, way better than any Disney pizza.

4) A lot cheaper (and some say better) than room service or Disney pizza.
5) For delivery
. . . Deluxes - meet delivery men in lobby (although some sneak to your room)
. . . All others - delivery men can go directly to your room
