I am dying to go to lunch at Pizza Planet, my DD and DS love Toy Story. I was just wondering what people thought of it? Also is there an arcade like in the movie?

My best friend and I ate there on our last trip and thought the pizza was disgusting. The decorations are cool and there is an arcade in there. Also it is pretty cheap so if you can gulp down the pizza then you might find it okay.

We ate there in February. Food is okay - definitely nothing special. There is a big arcade. IMHO, The best part were the giant Toy Story characters on the roof.

My daughter and I went on our last trip in September. It was yucky! You can read our review of it in our dining report below. I wouldn't recommend it. I think if I remember right the only thing that tasted good was the diet coke and a cookie.

I know Im in the minority here, but I enjoy Pizza Planet. The pizza is pretty good. I think it has improved over the last few years. The salads always hit the spot on a hot day.

I think the food is wretched! My advice: take the kids in and let them share an individual pizza and a soda, just so you can check it out and they can enjoy the Toy Story theme. Then eat somewhere else!!!

I'll join you in the minority. We have eaten at Pizza Planet on our last three trips and enjoyed it very much. The salads really are great and the meal deals are a great value on the Dining Plan. The pizza is no worse than Pizza Hut quality IMHO.

For Florida pizza, it's OK. :duck: I honestly do not think you can get a decent pizza in Florida. We have given up. My kids like it there despite the pizza.

you obviously haven't eaten at Pizzeria Unos - great pizza!

We ate here last week because my kids were a little hungry after the Muppets 3D Movie and they got all excited by the looks of this place.

I didn't want to "waste" 2 CS credits here, so I just ordered one Pepperoni Pizzi Combo Meal (individual pizza plus a salad). My kids split the pizza and I ate the salad. The dessert choices weren't very good...basically only Mickey crispy treats or a Cookie. We got the crispy treat and took it back to the hotel.

The kids had fun because the scenery was nice, but it was BY FAR my least favorite meal of the entire trip (if you even want to call it a meal...it was more like a snack...it would have taken two combos to fill the three of us).

Like others have said if you are looking for a good meal you probably won't find it here. I really didn't like the pizza (the salad was not bad) but it was a cute atmosphere. My son who is 3 thought it was awesome to be eating at Pizza Planet so that made it worth it to me.

We were very excited about going our first time. The food was ok -- counter service... which means you stand in line to get it -- we ate outside which was nice.

The arcade was good size but it was a regular arcade, mostly the same games you find at any arcade anywhere... there might have been one or two that were Toy Story themed but I don't remember them.

DS had a blast
!

If you like frozen pizza and pre-packaged lettuce...go for it. There are better places to eat at in MGM.

The pizza was horrible. My 5 yr old would not even eat it... I would go to the arcade and then eat somewhere else.

Thanks for all the honest answers. :thumbsup2 Maybe we will just stop in to take a pic or two, play a few games, and have our lunch somewhere else. I guess we'll see when we get there. Again thanks for your responses, we are using the dining plan and since my DS is 2 I am hoping we can share a few of the CS credits between the 4 of us.

Pizza planet wasn't bad it wasn't gourmet but I don't much of the counter food is. My son enjoyed it to the hilt! Eating at pizza planet was the highlight of his trip. We are planning out next trip back in exactly 6 weeks and I have promised him he may eat at pizza planet twice.

We've eaten there several time and enjoyed the pizza however the service is like dial-up internet...S-L-O-W!

We actually enjoyed it. We were on the DP so we had the combo meals which came with a salad and Rice Krispy treats for dessert. It was too much food for lunch but we thought it was pretty good. ;)

Oh ick! We ate there and were terribly disappointed. If you go at Lunch time, be prepared to stand in line for a VERY long time (30 mins), and then not be able to find a place to sit. The pizza was nasty, and the salad was OK. I loved the chocolate milk (ty to Borden's...or whoever supplied it) and the rice krispy treat was pretty good too! If you want to make their day, take them there to get a Rice Krispy Treat (shaped like Mickey ears), and let them play at the arcade.
