Pizza Planet at MGM

I was just wondering how the food is here and how large the pizza's are. Could two children split one meal? We are trying to figure out where to eat with our connections vouchers for dinner. I have a 9 year old son and he wanted to eat here on our last trip. I feel kind of bad since we have the Princess breakfast and 1900 Park Fare booked. My girls are excited but there doesn't seem to be any character meals geared for boys that age. Also how is the atmosphere are there games etc? Thanks!!

When we ate there my dd & ds were 5 & 9, and they did share a pizza and so did my dh & I. It all depends on how largeyour appetites are, but I thought they were big enough to share. We also thought the pizzas were pretty good. The games are your standard variety arcade-type, pay as you play.Depends on how much you want to spend. We didn't see characters, but I have heard Woody and Buzz make appearances.

Our group of 4 split 2 meal deals (pizza, salad, soda), which was enough for us. Big tip: have one person wait in line to order and the rest go stake out a table. We stood forever waiting when we went, and finally set the food on a chair and prepared to have a picnic when another family took pity on us and shared their double table. Be aware that it's very loud in there, between the video games and the complete lack of soundproofing. Before we went I'd heard some poor reviews of the food quality, but we all thought it was fine. Not cordon bleu, but it is an arcade after all! Hope you all have a great time.

Thanks for the replies! I think we will eat there and split the meals also. I think my son will enjoy it. We decided to drop Disneyquest from our plans so maybe a little time in the arcade will compensate! He has never been to DQ so he won't know what he is missing. We will save that for next trip!
