Pizza delivery?

We have always been very disappointed in Trail's End pizza. Does anyone deliver to the Fort? We are going in February.

Has the pizza magically improved in the last year?

. . . Like most WDW pizza, the cardboard container or box tastes better than the pie.

3) Papa John’s, 352-243-1800
4) Flipper's Pizza, 407-938-9633 (Best in our opinion)

NOTE1:
. . . At Deluxe Resorts & Fort Wilderness, delivered to Front Desk or Bellmen.
. . . At other resorts, delivered usually to your room.
. . . At DVC resorts, the delivered *almost* always to your room.

NOTE2:
. . . WDW is so large, that there are different pizza franchisees of the same brandname that serve different hotels.
. . . Just call the pizza numbers listed, and they transfer you to the proper franchisee's number.
. . . example: AKL and FW have different Papa John franchisees serving the two resorts


WARNING - DANGER WILL ROBINSON - WARNING:
. . . you might find a pizza "flyer" under your door.
. . . do not under any circustances call them.
. . . there have been "pizza scams" at local hotels and WDW resorts.
. . . you call, order, give your credit card number
. . . you do not get pizza, but they have your CC number - oops
. . . you find fraudulent charges on you CC later
. . . in the best-case-scenario, you get delivery of a frozen pizza.

My only truly bad FW memory involves that cardboard pizza....it was the last night of our first Fort trip and we picked up a pie on the way back to the site. We had much tearing down to do, so after getting the kids to bed we dove into that delicious-smelling pizza...and were seriously underwhelmed. With very little on hand to eat otherwise, we sat there in the dark and stoically choked down a few pieces.

Its a shame because we really enjoy Trail's End breakfast.

Agree, the box would would probably taste better. I find it odd that TE can produce the best tasting fried chicken, mac n cheese and other lip smacking great food but their pizza is on my never again list.

I heard that they actually use the pizzas down at the archery range for targets...or at least they did. Apparently they were breaking the arrows on direct hits. So they throw the leftover ones in Bay Lake, and that is why you can no longer swim in the lake.

...or, at least, that is what I heard from the bus driver.

We've ordered pizza and had it delivered to the front desk. We LOVE Flippers. And they will talk you through it. They'll tell you when to be there, etc.

Thanks....we had Papa John's last time for a large group. They were great. Sometimes you just need a drink and a slice by the pool.
