Pizza Delivery

I saw that on the DDP, it is 2 meal points to have a pizza delivered to your room - what if you went and picked it up, is it still the 2 points??

I don't know, but if it is 2 meal credits, that's an $80 pizza. That is ridiculous!

Yes. A whole pizza is two adult CS credits no matter how you acquire it.

Edited: This is incorrect. Pizza delivery at values and mods is 2 adult TS credits according to the brochure, not CS credits.

It may or may not be the same if you pick up the pizza. I have read on the boards about DDP users getting a pizza at values for 2 adult CS credits. It's possible if you pick it up yourself they'll charge you CS credits. I can't confirm that, ask when you get there. At any rate, a whole pizza is likely to cost you 2 credits of some sort (because it is not a single serving item).

Is it 2 TS credits for all plans? We will be on the platinum plan and I am sure my teenager will need food later in the evening.

I haven't done dining before, but from what I read it isn't just the pizza. I'm on deluxe plan and I think it said pizza, 2 desserts and 2 sodas or something like that. It was 2 TS credits for delivery. Still an expensive pizza LOL

We've done this before, it's one large pizza, 2 desserts, and 2 bottled cokes (or whatever) for 2 adult TS.
It worked for us, with two adults and one child (6) and isn't really all that 'expensive' - certainly not $80 mentioned earlier lol After all, you still get the CS and the snack credit for that day for those two TS credits.

Which is good, because to me, the pizza deal isn't worth 40 much less 80...

BTW, in case you are really interested in doing this, the gratuity is included for delivery...

Could you pay cash for the delivered pizza even if you were on the dining plan and if so how much would a large pizza cost?

Momof2boys - you should be able to order pizza from room service at AKL on platinum. I'm not sure if it would be the same deal as the pizza delivery at the moderate resorts. We've never ordered pizza with plat or premium but its likely only 1 credit. I've found more leniency in what you can get for a credit with the more expensive packages. Plus, there aren't any 2 credit meals on plat so I'm not sure how they would treat it - if you can get a full room service meal (appy, drink, entree, desert) for 1 credit, it shouldn't be more than that for a pizza.

Thanks for that thought Stephanie. I think Friday we can begin our ADR's and I have been trying to get what time each tour is and the illuminations cruise etc to match up to dining times including travel and I think my head might just explode. But once I'm done, i'm done right? hahahaha

Also... I found a post with pics of Figaro Fries and guess what? We are celebrating the night before ADR making by having them at home. Too fun huh? And reading all these menus has made me soooo hungry for a time now.
