Here is what I use for pizza and/or stromboli. I got it from someone else on this board & then made a few modifications...I use unbleached flour but I'm sure you could use whole wheat instead.

Best pizza dough

1 1/3 c water
2 Tbl olive oil
2 tsp sugar
1 ¼ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
½ Tbl garlic powder
2 Tbl Italian seasoning or pizza seasoning
1 Tbl Parmesan cheese
3 c unbleached all purpose flour
1½ tsp instant yeast

Add to the bread machine as directed by your machine. Set to dough mode. Check after several minutes to make sure the dough is the right consistency - tacky but doesn't actually stick. Add water or flour as needed, 1 Tbl at a time.

The best way I've found to spread the dough is to spray the pan lightly with olive oil (using the Misto), but do not oil your hands or the top. Use flour on hands/top when spreading. Our favorite "pizza" sauce is Ragu Chunky Garden Style Roasted Red Pepper & Onion.

When making a large pizza (cookie sheet size) I was having trouble getting the crust done in the center. What works best for me is to use the center rack & bake crust only for ~5 min...add sauce & bake for ~5 min...add cheese & other toppings & bake ~15 min.
