I was just trying to do a little meal planning for our trip (we leave in 5 days :cool1: ) and after looking over the menus for various places I was wondering, at Rainforest cafe are the kid's meal pizzas big enough for two children to share one? Or should we get each child their own meal? They're 8,7, 5 and 3 years old, but the 5 year old eats quite a bit for his age. And do they taste good, any reviews? Thanks!

We didn't order a kid's meal pizza, but we did order a regular one for our "kid". I don't know if all of the pizzas are like this or not, but the pizza we got was a "gourmet" pizza. Not something a 10 year old enjoyed at all.

My nephew ordered one once, and it was small. This has been a long time, but if they're still the same, I'd say there not really big enough for 2 to share. Hopefully, someone with a more recent experience will come along. :)

I always order the passport to paradise pizza from the RFC off of the regular adults menu, it is a cheese and tomato pizza, and is definately big enough for two kids to share :D

My boys got the kids meal pizzas last February. They seemed to be regular "frozen-type" kids pizzas to me, though they tasted okay. They were on the small side.

Hi,
We were there just in October and purchased an adult cheese pizza for my three kids and it was more than enough for them to share. Their ages are 10,7,4. You can always order an appatizer (sp?) with it for them to share. We did that also. Pizza was pretty good - they enjoyed it. My aunt and mom also shared one and they enjoyed it.

...at Rainforest it is WAY worth it to order the "Chicken Caribbe" appetizer and have 2 of the kids share that...they gave us 5 very generous long chicken pieces per order...and the dipping sauce tastes like brown sugar and butter. If your kids like chicken nuggets their discriminating tastes are going to soar after tasting these babies!...and they can be eaten plain for the fussy eater.

This is MHO...let me know if you agree or disagree!

er...maybe it's spelled "Chicken Carribe"...or even "Chicken Carribbe"...

...either or any way, it's delicious!

Yes the pizza's are big enough to share, and if you just get the cheese it'll be good for them, if you order it, go for the shrimp one, it's awesome!

Just last week we ordered a pizza off the adult menu for an 8 and 9 yr old to share. I would compare it to a thin crust medium pizza. The kids couldn't even finish it. They are not big eaters, but not nibblers either.

And they are definitely not frozen, we were able to get it half pepperoni and half meat lovers. (Can't remember what RFC official name for these pizzas were though).

We just returned 2 weeks ago and ordered the adult cheese pizza ($10) for our 2 daughters. One caution: if your kids are not "adventurous" eaters be sure the ask that they leave OFF the extra basil (?) that comes on the pizza. It's basically a cheese and chunky tomato-sauce pizza, but then they cover the top with thick pieces of green herbs. (looked good to me, but my youngest refused to eat it until I hand picked EVERY PIECE of green off of it!?!)

We also ordered the Carribe Chicken and both girls LOVED it!

It was plenty big, but my pizza-hound girls didn't like it. I don't remember why.
