Pizza and the DDP?

My son has requested pizza one night while we are on vacation- any suggestions? We will be on the dining plan- how does that work when ordering a large?

Not sure how it works on DDP, but I have heard Via Napoli in Epcot has incredible pizza!

Pizza delivery is a service offered to Guests at the following Resort hotels, beginning at 5:00 PM daily, until 1am I think.

To place an order, press "Pizza Delivery" on your in-room phone. An 18% gratuity, $3.00 delivery charge and 7% sales tax will apply to all delivery orders. A $15.00 minimum order is required.

This pizza is ok, not great. But ok very filling. We got a large one once.

If takes 2 TS credits

Via Napoli takes 1 TS per person I believe.

There are also some other non Disney pizza places that will deliver as well.. To the hotel lobby/ main bldg. I believe.

You can get pizza "to go" in the food court at any of the resorts that offer it, which I believe are the same ones PP posted above. Just takes them a few mins to make it. For 2 TS credits total (not PP), you get a large pizza with two drinks and two desserts. This applies to both reg DDP and DxDP. I don't know if the delivery service brings drinks/desserts too. We did this last trip and found it to be a good alternative to traditional QS when we were tired one night and wanted something to take back to the room.

If you want a restaurant experience, Via Napoli is good but you cannot share a large pizza on DDP there. Everyone would have to get an individual one. They are very strict about this. It's also very thin, authentic style pizza which may differ from what kids are used to. It's very good, but it does differ from the QS variety which is more "normal" pizza.

I looked at the pizza delivery menu on our trip this past May - can't remember if it was POP or POFQ - and they did have drinks and desserts as well as a few other items on the menu for delivery.
