Now that the schedules are up for our dates I'm trying to plan. I've not heard much about Pixie Hollow lately. How have the lines been? Is this something we should schedule first thing? Does it open the same time as the park? When is the best time to try to do this?

I'll have to check with my friend (Belle Ella) about what time exactly it was that we were there but I think we got in line at about 9:15 am and it had just opened at nine. Was something like a 10-15 minute wait then. The park opened at 8 am that day. I remember walking past it sometime during our trip and it was a 45 minute wait, so definitely something to do right when they open it up. :)

I do not know when you are going but they had walls up around the line q ths weekend. . . :confused3 not sure if it was open or not. .

We were there M-W last week and tried to visit Pixie Hollow on Wednesday without success. The last time we looked at the line, it was 45 minutes long. We kept walking past hoping it would get shorter but that never happened.

Sounds like we should definitely visit first thing than. I hate to waste precious morning hours in a long character line. Hopefully it will be short first thing.

What is the waiting line like? I am thinking of sending a runner to get FPs while we hurry to Pixie Hollow. Will our runner be able to get to us in line?

Pixie Hollow is a slow loader and very popular. Have dad go get FP for Space Mountain or some other ride. The lines seldom get shorter for Pixie Hallow and they cannot increase the number of persons served per hour so it is half hour to an hour wait every day depending on the day and time.

I've been through Pixie Hollow twice. Once was first thing in the morning (about 1/2 hour after opening), and second was on a slow, kind of cold day...right before they closed. Each time the wait was about a half hour. Each time there was Tinkerbell and only 1 other fairy. I'll be honest....totally not worth the wait for me...or even my daughter. She loves tinkerbell, but not a whole lot of bang for our buck.

For me, I guess I'm comparing it to our meeting of the princesses....we had 4 princesses, and they were much more interactive with the kids...and just about the same wait.

The good part about Pixie Hollow is that you can look and see exactly how long the line is. If it's into the back-and-forth section, you've got anywhere between 20-40 minutes, depending on how far back into it you are. If it's almost back to where the sign/greeter are, you're talking anywhere between 45-60 minutes.
