I love hearing about the different ways pixie dust is spread around DW. I mean total random acts of kindness by CMs.

During our trip last Sept. ds(7yo) was *totally* into Indiana Jones. Obsessed, really. LOL We went to Hollywood Studios just for the Indy show. Ds dressed up all in his Indy garb. When we walked into the show, it was almost full. As we strolled in and were looking around for seats for our family of 5, a CM called out from behind us to ds. "Indy? Indy! I'm so glad you came! We've been waiting for you. Your special seat is all ready for you!" And she led us through the crowds and packed theater to the empty reserved front center second row. Ds has never been happier and dh and I almost cried to see ds's face full of joy and so mesmerized. It was so sweet! :lovestruc

I have one! It was the last night of our vacation and we were at MK. My kids do pin trading and my daughter spent the whole week attempting to get the Pirates Cuties set. She only had 1 left to get. MK was getting ready to close and we were rushing around to CMs hoping to find it on one of their lanyards. We went into the shop in Tomorrowland and was checking the CM's lanyard. The CM could tell she was disappointed after looking at his lanyard and asked what she was looking for. She told him and he said wait here...he went in the back and about 10 minutes later came out with the pin she was trying to find :wizard: She was SO excited and I could not thank the CM enough! It *made her trip :cloud9:

We were literally the last people leaving from Lights Motor Action (my nephew has Aspergers and really takes his time getting down stairs) and the CM gave us fastpasses for any attraction for that day. We were all very excited! I love pixie dust and Disney magic!

This was MY most magical moment. I was in Epcot with DD - almost 3. We visited Mulan and the character handler asked if she had her mask filled out yet from China (which we didn't). SO, Mulan and her walked hand in hand to the back of China. It was SO special ... the character handler grabbed our stroller and the photopass person took pictures all the way back so I can do video. (I LOVE photopass!!) It still melts my heart and brings tears to my eyes when I look at the pictures.

We got pixie dust from our resort. Our luggage never arrived and we had no idea where it was. The people in bell services stepped in and began to track it down. Eventually, we discovered that at our origination city, it had been tagged incorrectly and put on a plane to San Francisco!:scared1: It took two full days to resolve the problem, but the bell services manager (at POFQ) told us he would credit money to our room and for us to go get what we needed to get by. He also said for us to go to the parks and enjoy ourselves and not give another thought to our missing luggage. They would handle it. Indeed they did.:thumbsup2 The mistake had nothing to do with Disney, but they made it possible for us to laugh off the missing bag and enjoy our stay. What other hotel would do that?:confused3

OMG, too cute...my ds would not let me post....the magical moments....so many to recall over many many years of amazing visits........just LOVE this thread op!!!

Adventure_Woman, that first picture is wonderful!!!!

Our pixie dust came just after the opening show at MK. My boys and I were picking up some of the Mickey head confetti to take to Cinderella's wishing well, when a CM noticed us and handed us a half bag full!

A second helping was at AK, where a CM at Primeval Whirl gave us a rider swap card so my DS and I could come back and ride after the thunderstorms cleared without having a long wait. That ride was the biggest "must do" of the trip for my son because he hadn't been tall enough to ride our previous visit.

What a nice thread! On our last trip, my DD and I waited to do Rock N Roller coaster. It was her first big ride, and she was SO excited. I was nervous, but she was more than tall enough. So, we rode it, me holding onto her leg the whole time. When it ended, she was so amazingly excited that they let us walk through a back entrance right to the front of the line. We rode it again minutes later and DD loved it again and said she "felt like she was Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz."

That same trip, we ended up outside BBB. My DD noticed all of the little girls getting their pictures taken, and said said "I feel like Cinderella in her rags." So sweet! Anyway, I told the CMs and they let my DD get her picture taken just like all of the little girls, only mine was in Gymboree instead of a princess dress. Love Disney World! :lovestruc

We had pixie dust during our last trip. DH lost his park ticket (10 day, no expiration, water parks and more - and we had only used 2 days of it, and no water parks). I was ready to cry. I did have a PDF copy of it on my Blackberry, so we went to the guest services outside of Magic Kingdom (for will call tickets, etc). The CM was so proud that I had the PDF on my cell phone with the numbers, etc from the ticket, she showed it around the booth and then gave me a free FP for our family, good anywhere in MK that day, for being prepared. So, I felt like we actually benefited from a lost ticket (and it certainly more than made up for the 5 min standing in line), and thanked DH for loosing his ticket! It was a great way to start what could have otherwise been a frustrating day.

So amazing. Those pictures are priceless. I wonder if the characters are aware of how they are forever a part of a child's history. Pictures she will show her grandchildren all because of the extra time Mulan took for a little girl. :lovestruc

Ours happened last year during our first family trip to WDW. We had two special things happen! We were in the pin shop by Frontierland and the CM saw that it was our first trip (we had the buttons) and started talking with the kids. She asked my oldest what her name was, and when she told her she looked with amazement and said, "We have a ride at Epcot with that name!" (DD name is Soryn...pronounced just like the ride) She ran over, and grabbed the Soarin' pin and gave it to her, and said she had to have it because of her name! Too cute!

Later, on our very last day, as we moped around MK, sad and wishing we could stay forever, we passed a CM...he must have been a high up like the other lady at frontierland because he was dressed in khaki's and a button up shirt. He stopped us to ask how our trip was going and we, of course, said we were having a great time, but it was our last day. We also told him we were sad because we hadn't been able to see Mickey Mouse the whole time. (this happened on the bridge by the castle and tomorrowland). He told us to come with him. He took us the back way over to toontown, into the place where Mickey and Minnie are, and brought us to the front of the line to "meet" Mickey and Minnie. We all got our pics taken. My youngest DD-8 months then, even kissed Minnie on the nose! It was a MAGICAL moment, and we still talk about it. We leave for our 2nd annual trip in 9 days!! The pic below is our "whole family picture" from that "pixie dust moment".

My favorite was a few years back we were watching a parade and I noticed a young woman next to me crying, waving and blowing kisses. I asked if this was her first day there and she said it was her first time EVER in Disney World. I asked if they had ridden fun rides today and she said no, since all the lines were too long (I think it was a 8-10 day..super crowded). She didn't know about fast passes. I excused myself and went into a Fantasy land shop, explained the girl's circumstances and they hopped into action! They took her straight back to meet all the princesses, walked her onto Peter Pan and told her any ride she wanted to ride in fantasy land was hers to walk onto!

Another year, we were concierge level and had been given another extra fast pass. We were kinda done and ready to go home but had this 'Ride Anything Anytime' fast pass on our bands. As we were leaving, we saw a family talking to a CM outside the Princess hall. They didn't have fast passes and their dressed up 4 year old girl was so sad. We offered our bands to the family and they were sooo happy! They gushed and thanked us and it was soo fun getting to play a role in pixie dust!

For ourselves...we invited a friend last april to join us last second. Like literally one day before. We were going to AK so we knew he wouldn't get a fast pass to Flight of passage or safari. When we picked up his ticket, the girl just gave us a 4th anything pass and then guest relations just added him to our fast passes!

Love these stories!! We have not been to WDW in 20 years, but are going in a few weeks for our grandson's third birthday. We are so excited! If we are fortunate enough to have a pixie dust story, I will come back here and tell.

My sons first visit, and his visit was celebrating his birthday. He was so excited and he wore his button everyday. He wasn't tall enough for space mountain yet so my mom waited with him in the arcade while my dad and I rode. as we got off I noticed a CM hand my son a bag of cotton candy and told him happy birthday. He was so excited!

Our next trip my husband couldn't come with us. I was looking into trading a pin with a CM but didn't want to give up mine. She asked me why I was having a hard time trading and I told her she had a pin that was my husbands favorite and I want to trade so I could give it to him since he had to sty home but didn't know which one to trde. she just gave me the pin no trading needed
