For the past 3 1/2 years I have been battling a chronic illness that for most of it has caused me to be bedridden. It has been rough with a husband and 4 little girls to be stuck in bed. Back in January my illness was getting better and my March I was told my illness was in remission. Sadly, we think I am starting to relapse. Things have been extremely hard health wise for me the past month or so. We leave in a few hours for an 18 hour drive to Florida to visit my mother in law. I am nervous about the road trip but know my family needs this giveaway and my mother in law will be able to help with the kids when I am too sick to be up and around. I am praying that this is just a minor setback and that I don't go into a full relapse and become majorly ill again. I feel like I have already missed out on so much of my kids lives and I dont want to miss more.

If things go well, hopefully hubby and I will spend a day this Friday at Walt Disney World, it would be nice for him and I to have sometime together and for us to forget about sickness for a bit.

Anyways, I am scared and not wanting to go through a long sickness again and am disappointed that remission didn't last so long. IF I could have some pixie dust I would appreciate it. I feel like our family has been through the ringer this summer as my mom and grandmother were also diagnosed with cancer, thankfully they are doing well. Anyways, please send any extra pixie dust if you can.

I'm saddened to hear of your relapse, I'm sending truckloads of pixie dust and healthy thoughts to follow you wherever you may be.

As someone who is dealing with a worsening chronic illness myself, I send you all the pixie dust I can scrape up! I hope your trip goes really well, and that you have an amazing miracle-filled day at Disney, feeling better than you have in a long time.

I too have am dealing with a life-changing illness. I am sending you lots and lots of pixie dust so that you can have a true magical moment with your family. Recently I was on a Disneyland trip that I really really wanted to be on even though I was very worried that I would slow the whole group down. I use a scooter to get around. While we were traveling from one building to another location another traveler in a wheelchair being pushed by a great guy raced me up a slight hill. I found myself laughing -- a deep laugh. I realized I hadn't heard that laugh in such a long time. It was an incredible moment that I treasure. I hope you find a moment like that on your trip. Laughter is one of the best medicines in the world. Have a great trip!!!

It's a great day to be alive!!!
