Pixie Dust Please, We have lost our Dog**NEWS UPDATE POST 93**

Vicki and I are both devastated, our beautiful little Yorkshire Terrier, Spike somehow managed to escape the house today.We live in a large city with very busy roads and we are worried to death about him. We have been out for the last 4 hours looking for him, he is over 10 years old and deaf and I just know is not at all street wise. He only ever leaves the house with me and only on a lead, and for the life of us we can not figure out how he managed to escape. I have phoned the local Police Station and the Dogs home, who have taken our address and phone number. I could kick myself as he always wears a collar with his details on, but I removed it last night to bathe his bad ear and forgot to put it back on him. We are so upset and I cant stop crying. Please wish us good luck for his safe return, he is such a big part of my family.

Vicki and I have just been back out again, but its impossible, we have a torch and have been around all the lanes and the parks and green areas. He is such a small thing and has no road sense at all, he has been missing for hours now and I cant help fearing the worse

Oh Sue, I am so sorry. One of our cats went for a 10 day wonder during the summer and we were devastated and feared the worst but we did get him back.

Vicki and I have been out in the car tonight and looked everywhere, we called in to the local Dogs home with a picture of him and they promise if there is any news they will be in touch.

I am so hoping that some kind soul has taken him in from the bitter cold tonight and that he is being looked after somewhere. I feel so guilty and terribly sad that he may still be out roaming the streets.

Im so sorry to sound so sad over a pet but he has been with me since he was a tiny pup and is part of the family, thank you all so very much for your kind thoughts

Sue, hun, you have every right to be sad, Spike is a part of your family, and you must be worried to bits. Like you, I hope someone has found him and will report it to someone in the morning
